Nursing will never be just a job to me; it is deeply woven into my identity and I consider it a privilege to be a member of this profession. I aim to eventually combine my nursing experience with a Master’s in Business Administration. With these skills, I will be able to make a meaningful impact on healthcare systems by leading innovation in nursing and medical communities.

I conducted a research study with Rochester Mayo’s Fibromyalgia Clinic and a University in Spain. The results of the study were published in the Journal of Pain Management Nursing, and presented at the Iowa Governor’s Conference on Public Health, the National Student Nurses Association Annual Convention, and the Luther College Research Symposium.
My career goal is to position myself in a place where I will lead innovation in healthcare through research and management of my own research team.

I am assuming you have not yet taken your GRE because it is not included in your profile. If you fall within a couple of points above or below Wharton’s average class score of 324, you have a real shot at Wharton which tends to weigh test scores more heavily than many other MBA programs. If you fall short, you have several options here, including Kellogg and Duke. But don’t overlook the MBA programs at Vanderbilt and John’s Hopkins. Both that MBA experiences that are excellent for students interested in healthcare. Good luck!
