Hi Ms. Qualcomm Quality, Melisa here from Stratus Admissions. Hi Ms. Qualcomm Quality, Melisa here from Stratus Admissions. Based on the fact that youāve identified that you are looking to move into another role at Qualcomm, I am going to assume you are applying to part time or fully employed MBAs. With your 10 years of experience, you are at the right point in your career for a part time program. And an MBA could help you move up within your organization, leveraging stronger business and leadership skills. It sounds like you would bring strong process improvement and customer insight to classroom discussions. From the limited info here in your profile, what is not clear is your career trajectory so far and the leadership you have demonstrated. You will want to highlight the leadership experiences youāve had throughout your career or extra-curricularly – this could be leadership of projects, relationships, execution. From the title alone, Customer Quality Engineer sounds rather technical in nature. Iād want to dig a bit deeper on what you are looking for from an MBA, to make sure this is the right degree to help you get there. An MBA can help you transition to product management and Iād like to know more about what types of products youād like to manage – and at Qualcomm or would you eventually like a diversity of experience? Iād want to understand a bit more about your GMAT story as well – have you taken it more than 1x? If not, I would suggest taking it again. Your 660 is 20 points lower than the FEMBA average, which you might be able to overcome with a compelling story – but engineers tend to be higher in the overall average. Wish you the best of luck!
Everything lines up, except for GMAT on relatively low end of their range. I know it’s easier said than done, but maybe take another crack at it?
