As I am sure you know. INSEAD loves consultants and consultants tend to love INSEAD. Your international experience in “moving from one country to another for work reasons” over the past two years has clearly had an marvelous impact on your perspective and life. As I am sure you know. INSEAD loves consultants and consultants tend to love INSEAD. Your international experience in “moving from one country to another for work reasons” over the past two years has clearly had an marvelous impact on your perspective and life. That global experience is important in an INSEAD application and should really help you gain an admit. Your stats are also in line with an INSEAD acceptance as well. While you seem to think that an MBA would allow you to explore other career paths, I do think that is less possible in a ten-month program. INSEAD’s MBA is intense and there is little time for real reflection on what you want to do afterward. You need to go in with a plan and execute on that plan to make it pay off for you. So don’t give INSEAD the impression that you are a “wanderer” who doesn’t have a direction in mind. It’s okay to not be 100% certain but you do need some idea of one or two things you want to transition to. It could very well be that you want to upgrade your consulting career to MBB or work in a new field in consulting. But do that that down.
