The Trulaske College of Business’ Crosby MBA: What You Need To Know

The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business’s Crosby OMBA at the University of Missouri has flexible enrollment options for working professionals that wish to pursue their graduate degree part-time and for students that wish to enroll full-time. The MBA made its transition to a more accessible OMBA in 2021 after being reassessed in 2020.

“The nice thing about this program is that it is accessible to any type of student,” says program Director Ryan Murray on the University of Missouri’s site. “Whether you’re a single parent who doesn’t have a lot of time during the day, but has some time during the evenings and on the weekends, or a recent grad who’s working full-time but still wants to go ahead and get a graduate degree, a full-time student looking at finishing in less than 2 years, or anything between, the program will allow you to set your own pace and be successful on your own terms and timeline.”

Crosby OMBAs engage in real-world problem solving and experiential learning with their curriculum that combines a solid business foundation with courses designed to develop integral professional skills.

The program requires a total of 45 credit hours total over at least three semesters, and OMBAs can customize their experience by selecting one of the required business graduate certificates in Assurance/Audit, Center for the Digital Globe, Construction Management, Financial Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Investments, Life science Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing Analytics, and Tax.

The B-school offers personal career coaching and a career course where students focus on their future and meet face-to-face with company leaders. Post-grad, OMBAs can access support through career services, and they can leverage Mizzou’s 300,000-strong alumni network.
