The Rollins Crummer MBA: What You Need To Know

The Rollins College Crummer Business School was established in 1885, and sits in Winter Park, Florida across 80 acres. Crummer is known for its beautiful Spanish-Mediterranean style architecture across its campus. Winter Park is said to be the “Orange County” of Florida – an affluent neighborhood rich in art, history, and culture.

MBAs can finish their degree between 16 – 20 months. The program offers small class sizes to mimic a real work environment and to encourage students to form lasting connections with each other and faculty.

Crummer posted a video on their website where MBA Obioma Ezinwa says, “When you come here, you’re constantly surrounded by excellence, and what happens when you are in that kind of environment is it just pushes you to be the best student you can be. So, for me, experiencing excellence has been about raising my personal standards of what is acceptable and what is excellence.”

Crummer’s early advantage MBA is a full-time program designed for graduates who are just starting their career or want to change their career early on – and do so through in-person learning. Crummer doesn’t require their students to come into the early advantage MBA with work experience, yet most enter with 10 months of experience.

The B-School also offers a Flex MBA for those who want the flexibility to take almost half of their credits online, and the Professional MBA that’s offered part-time for those that wish to work simultaneously while earning their degree.

For those with no experience, Crummer requires early advantage MBAs to partake in a complete one-on-one career strategy secession as well as a mock interview. Also a staple of the MBAs is an internship, typically completed in the summer term. Career coaches offer help along the way, from resume and cover letter, and job searching assistance to salary negotiation. There are plenty of opportunities to gain experience practicing business globally through capstone courses, projects, and exchanges.

Crummer offers six optional concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Operations & Technology Management, and SESE (Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Enterprise). During their second year, MBAs can choose to take electives at night, which overlap with the professional MBA students.
