The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University was established in 1950 to provide education geared toward the complex, practical needs of business leaders. Stillman is the only school in northern New Jersey with both business and accounting accreditation – making it one of only 188 institutions worldwide to hold an additional, specialized AACSB accreditation.

Seton Hall has the ideal location in South Orange — close to all the action on its 58-acre park-like campus, yet not engulfed by it – 14 miles outside of New York City. Seton Hall MBAs take advantage of the close proximity to the Big Apple, one of the largest job markets and capitals of finance, fashion, entertainment, art, publishing. For MBAs this means networking, internship and career opportunities.

The 2-year MBA is flexible and can be pursued on campus or online. Aside from core business courses, students have the option to choose a general track or select one of eight specializations – a few of which are STEM designated – including Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Technology Management, Management, Marketing, Sport Management, and Supply Chain Management.

The program begins with The Launch Experience, a kick-off immersion experience that is said to be the cornerstone of the program. MBAs connect with faculty, industry experts and their peers — many of whom are working professionals from leading companies. This intensive residency experience focuses on the introduction to and exploration of skill sets, with experiential exercises. The post-residency online project involves creating a customized academic and career plan.

Beyond the classroom, Seton Hall MBAs frequent the 8 learning centers, participate in internships, research partnerships, and student clubs.

“While our programs include a number of unique elements, it is the people who make the programs valuable. The professors, practice partners and your future peers make Stillman a vibrant learning community.” – Joyce Strawser, Ph.D., Dean of the Stillman School of Business

Tradition of Excellence

The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University provides education geared toward the complex, practical needs of business leaders. Established in 1950, the School was the first private business school in New Jersey to earn accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Decades later, the School continues to maintain professional accreditation from AACSB and is the only school in northern New Jersey with both business and accounting accreditation.

Close-knit Community

The School maintains the feel of a close-knit community with small class sizes and convenient course schedules. Students work with faculty and administrators to achieve their academic and career goals. Moreover, the alumni community-20,000 strong-provides students with a wealth of learning, networking and career opportunities.
