The Olin Business School at Washington University’s Master of Science in Customer Analytics (MSCA) program positions students to excel as big data moves to the forefront of the boardroom. Upon graduation, MSCA graduates are analytics-driven business managers and well versed to guide firms in big data and data-driven decision-making.
This program is offered in full-time and part-time options.
The MSCA program has a STEM designation and is in partnership with IBM and Washington University’s Schools of Engineering & Applied Science and Arts & Science, to merge business and IT disciplines. Practical hands-on experience is gained through intensive industry projects that are guided by faculty members.
Full-time students can complete the rigorous 39 credit hour graduate analytics program in three semesters. These students begin the program with Foundation courses in late summer. This coursework is in addition to the 39 required credits and is Pass/Fail. Foundation courses include introductory marketing and statistics and students must be enrolled in them before beginning the program in the Fall semester. A minimum 3.0 grade point average must be maintained for graduation.
Working professionals in the St. Louis area can pursue the program on a part-time basis with courses offered in evenings. However, several courses are available only during the day, therefore flexibility will be required. Part-time students can begin taking classes in January (spring semester) or August (fall semester). Foundation coursework is required as in the full-time option.
It is important to note that the first and second semesters cost $28,925 each, while the third costs $17,355.
