Students in the Master of Science in Supply Chains and Operations Management (SCOM) graduate ready for leadership positions in supply chains, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing and service operations management. In class, students are exposed to the latest conceptual developments and industry best-practices. In addition, they are provided opportunities to interact with industry executives and augment their communication and soft skills. This program is for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or arts and sciences.
This program can be completed in one year, full-time. Admission is only offered in the fall. The 30-credit curriculum consists of nine three-credit courses and a three-credit interactive project supervised by a faculty member. Key courses, such as Production and Inventory Planning and Logistics Management, are taught in a state-of-the art laboratory having access to SAP/R3 ERP software.
The final integrative project is typically an industry-based project.
