In the no-prerequisite Master of Accounting (MAC) program from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, students from any undergraduate major will acquire critical accounting knowledge and will develop the soft skills required for success in accounting and corporate finance roles. All of the Big 4 and mid-market accounting firms and numerous major corporations recruit students from both the online and on-campus formats.
This program is delivered through an on-campus or online format. The two UNC Kenan-Flagler Master of Accounting (MAC) program formats deliver the same degree and share the same curriculum, faculty, and recruiting opportunities. Classes for the on-campus format start once a year, in June. Online students can start in January, March, June, or September. A short, credit-bearing immersion event in Chapel Hill precedes each start.
