Describe yourself in 15 words or less: I am a resilient and honest player; I find victory in losing myself in the game.

Fun Fact About Yourself: I find ways to ensure the child in me is alive. I strongly believe it is important to revisit our childhood days with each step that takes us away from it.

 Undergraduate School and Major:

Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Employers and Job Titles Since Graduation:

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far:  I led a card-linked marketing services project for a leading credit bureau. This gave me an opportunity to connect with individuals in my team and to bring them together to work towards a common goal. It was a learning experience for me and I learned that people work with enthusiasm only when they understand and believe in the purpose of the task at hand. Building a strong and productive team is my biggest accomplishment in my career so far.

Looking back on your experience, what advice would you give to future business school applicants? The GMAT is about recognizing patterns in the questions to obtain solutions. Practice definitely makes one perfect. Essays should connect the dots from where you are to where you wish to go and why you wish to go there. You can excel in the admissions interview if you know about the college as much as you know about your own self. Every step of the application process must be planned in advance and understood in its entirety

What led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA? The collaborative culture at Notre Dame provides an environment to grow as a team rather than as an individual. I believe this is the key to success of a family or a team or an organization.

Tell us about your dream job or dream employer at this point in your life? My experience with molding data across various domains has instilled in me a keen desire to be able to find answers to business problems in the world of information. A day in my dream job: I am surrounded with the asset of data, I build an insight to be able to predict the future of the organization with the data of the past in my hands. (Oh and I am happy)

What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program? I would like my peers to say that the bond of friendship with Navya extends beyond the boundaries of the campus and beyond the two-year MBA program.
