Looking back on your experience, what advice would you give to future business school applicants? Preparation is everything. Ranging from GMAT to resume building to interviews, the better prepared you are the easier the process will be. I highly recommend researching and networking as much as possible with not only current and past students, but also admissions and faculty members of the school you are applying to before you even submit an application.

What led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA? Culture. Rice has a philanthropic and entrepreneurial culture that is contagious. People genuinely want to help others and be part of something bigger than themselves. Everything from the size of classes to the outreach with the Houston community lends itself to a team atmosphere and culture.

Tell us about your dream job or dream employer at this point in your life? My dream job is building a small business from the ground up and bringing new products and services to people that add value to them and the communities we serve.

What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program?   I want my peers to say that I am an honest and hard-working guy, who they would not hesitate to ask for help or refer business.
