Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of the school’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Carlson MBA’s Enterprise Program was a very big driving factor since we get to utilize our learning experience in assessing real-world problems and communicating with leaders from organizations in various sectors. Carlson maintains a great balance in academic flexibility and training through the mandatory courses in the first semester to frame the mindset and work culture, moving onto providing a plethora of electives to frame individual MBA experience.

At Carlson, you are part of one of the most dynamic business environments in the country. What has made the Twin Cities such a great place to live and learn for you?  I was really excited about Carlson due to its location in the Twin Cities Area, headquarters for more than 15 fortune 500 companies, and the exposure it provides to create a balance between the corporate and academic world. The Twin Cities area and community within has multiple engagement avenues for cross-functional collaboration for the betterment of society and personal development.

What quality best describes your MBA classmates you’ve met so far and why? The Carlson Community is very engaging and helps each other in academic, professional, and personal development. Classmates from diverse backgrounds provide an engaging discussion with experience including armed forces, non-profits, arts and science streams.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: One of the biggest accomplishments was to qualify for the All India Engineering exam and placing in the top 1% of 500,000 students

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? The biggest accomplishment in my MBA career so far is being selected as a Sands Social Ventures Fellow to deploy solution pertaining to teen homelessness

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point in your career? After working in project management, product marketing, and consultancy in cross-functional teams globally, I wanted to switch into a more corporate umbrella and devise informed business solutions that spanned from conceptualization to implementation. Due to COVID’s economic turmoil, it seemed apt to utilize these 2 years for personal growth before the economy came back up to speed.
