Why did you choose to study your course at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management?:

After a five months exchange semester in Germany, I felt I could really learn a lot in the German education system. Also, I wanted to carry out my master in a metropolis at a selected university with a good networking platform to bring over more functional quality connections in the international business and finance field. After detailed research, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management was the best match in Germany.

Tell us more about your company/organization and what you do:

I am the founder of the “āmasian” brand, which has two business units:

āmasian Wedding Studio GmbH focuses on destination wedding and theme event planning in Europe. During Covid, we have included fashion events in our category.

āmasian Event & Business UG focuses on high-end offline matchmaking for committed love. During Covid, we are building up our “āmasian Love Interview” platform to provide authentic love stories and tips from selective top couples and are currently looking for funding.

Was it always your goal to found a company?:

Yes! Since my bachelor studies in Beijing, I also founded a student club “weekend hometown” with two other co-founders.

What advice would you have for other entrepreneurial women that want to found a company?:

I have a lot of advice, but here are my most important points:

  • Be grateful.
  • Be well prepared but be brave.
  • Action is important.
  • Be humble to learn from everyone.
  • Keep physically and mentally fit.
  • Your family is important and do not forget balance.

How did your experience at business school help you with your venture?

First of all, Frankfurt School provided me a great view to see the demands of a high-end circle. Also, during and after the study, the growing Frankfurt School has never forgotten me as an international alumnus, and organised selective lectures, events and networking opportunities.

What are your hopes for the future of women in business?
As women, we are special: we are a daughter, and maybe also a wife or a mother.  We are born to be warm, connecting, lovable, gentle but strong. The position of a woman in a family is irreplaceable and we are born with beautiful hormones and emotions and can of course be rational as well.

So, in the future business world, I hope as women, we can use our advantages in business to nourish it as a beautiful flower to attract the support and understanding with good energy from your work, your society, your country, and even your region.
