After reading reviews online and hearing from peers, I decided to use Jessica for a multi-school package and was blown away by the overall process and results. In short, Jessica got me into 3 T10s, including one full-ride.

I was able to secure a full ride at a Top 10 and Top 15 school through working with Nisha without a doubt. Through the MBA application process, the personal essay portion was most daunting to me and I’m glad I worked with Melissa Merchant on it. Harshad had been a constant support throughout the application process. I could really connect with him, as it helped that I and Harshad have one big common area of interest. Harshad never sugar-coated words and was forthright in truly reflecting what schools and programs I held the potential of hitting. This was a major help, as it narrowed the focus of schools/programs, and accordingly, the work was cut out. Harshad’s biggest contribution came in the form of decoding what the essays were asking and then suggesting structures in which to put together essay responses. That was able to help me put together my stories in the most fitting ways.

On occasions of deadlines approaching, Harshad would without fail remain available to guide me at every step and get me over the line. His continuous backing was a huge mental support. He kept motivating me whenever I would feel any less confident or low in general, including discussing other matters too, that I was struggling with in general. He was very diligent and always respond on time, even though I was often tardy. Mock interviews with Harshad were another eye-opener, as I could figure out where all I was making mistakes (many of which were self-destructing), and how to time my responses. Without the mocks, I wouldn’t have ever been able to identify those gaps. Especially noteworthy were Harshad’s seasoned reflections of programs and schools. Such highly useful insights threw quite a light on things and guarded me from mixed opinions about schools/programs that I was otherwise gathering from miscellaneous resources. Especially as an international applicant, all of the above were hugely helpful and a must-have for me, as they would be for anyone applying to leading global MBA programs. In fact, Harshad is now a friend for life.

As an Indian male with a below-average GPA, I was doubtful about getting into a top MBA program. However, working with Harshad completely changed my opinion. From the get-go, he was extremely transparent and honest. He candidly explained to me I come from an overrepresented demographic and will have to score an above-average GRE score to compensate. After receiving my scores we brainstormed the best fit programs for me. He helped me in selecting safety schools, par schools, and reach schools. He was an incredible value add here because he was very knowledgeable about each program and could speak to their different cultures and expertise. After choosing the programs we proceeded to brainstorm. He helped me shine a light on things that would differentiate me and helped me tone down weaknesses in my story. Once I got to the essay writing stage, he would always return things in a day or under with quality edits and comments for me to work on. Overall he was immensely helpful in me getting accepted into Tepper, which is my number one option. He instilled confidence in me and helped me articulate a story that reflects the best version of myself. He is very candid and genuine and doesn’t try to sell services – he genuinely wants to see clients succeed and get into their top programs. He is extremely flexible and accessible. If I ever wanted to chat about anything out he would carve out time in his day to make it happen. His turnaround times are short too so there is no wastage of time. I found the mock interviews to be extremely helpful too since he asks tailored questions for each program. Again this just further reflects his expertise in top programs. All in all, I can confidently say that Harshad was worth every penny. He is extremely knowledgeable and helps curate the best version of yourself. His feedback during mock interviews and essays is relevant and reflects his high attention to detail. Harshad is very easy to talk to and uplifting too. Overall I would recommend Harshad to anyone. Without him, I would not have been able to get into my top program of Tepper.

Coming from a non-traditional background, the MBA application process seemed incredibly daunting to me. I’m so glad I worked with Nisha! As a non-traditional applicant with time constraints, I was committed to hiring a consultant for my round 1 applications. Upon speaking with other consultants I felt she had the most confidence in my potential as a candidate, even with a less than stellar GMAT. Through our work together Nisha helped me craft materials that highlighted my strengths to outshine my weaknesses. I worked with Harold Simansky in the 2021-2022 MBA application cycle and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering applying to MBA programs. Some things I really liked about working with Harold – First, he focuses on your personal and distinct story. I am a career switcher – trying to move from the energy industry into sustainability. Initially, I struggled with defining how my past career paired with an MBA would guide me into sustainability. However, through various in-depth brainstorming exercises, he helped me develop a clean and true-to-myself story that helped me in my applications, conversations with students and faculty, and my interviews. Second, Harold is prompt in his responses. Even though he is a top consultant with many clients demanding his time, I always felt my application had his full attention as he consistently responded to me in a timely manner. Third, Harold is going to push you to put the best possible application together. We spent much of our time on the front-end brainstorming essay topics, outlines, and resume structures. Then, we dove into drafting up responses. I’d write a draft, send it to him, he’d quickly provide critiques and suggestions, and then send it back to me so we could cycle again. We did this a lot and he focused on each component of every application being very specific to each school. By the time we were done, I was blown away by the quality of the essays, short answers, resume, and other responses he had helped me put together. Here’s the best part. Since Harold focused on ensuring every word I wrote was true to myself and my story, I felt as if I didn’t even need to prepare for interviews! We spent months developing applications that honestly described my career path, desire for the schools, and future aspirations. That made it surprisingly easy to walk into interviews fully prepared with minimal prep. Now, what was the result of all of this? Was it worth the money? To me, the answer is a definitive YES. While I’ll never know what would have happened if I had not decided to work with Harold, I do know that, by working with him, I not only got into my top schools, Fuqua and Darden, but I also got full-tuition scholarships to each.

When I began working with Susan, I was skeptical I could get into an M7 business school on my first try. I had a good GMAT score and a reasonable GPA but at 24 years old and with only 3 years as a Deloitte consultant, I felt I needed real help to stand out.

From the get go, Susan pushed me to look into why I wanted to go to B School and to dig into my post MBA career goals. The process was extremely organized, clearly cut out, very well tailored for people like me who have slight OCD and a touch of anxiety and need to know exactly what will be expected of them. Susan had a wealth of experience, recommended I apply to MIT Sloan based on my criteria, and communicated a wealth of material so I could adequately do my research. She reviewed each of my essays about 7 times and minutely went over each aspect of my application. In the end, I got interviews at HBS, CBS, and MIT Sloan, all 3 schools I had applied to Round 1!

Katharine Lewis was an excellent consultant and mentor from the beginning to the end of my JD/MBA application process. I applied to the top JD/MBA programs in the United States, and so far I have acceptances to the joint JD/MBA program at Wharton/Penn Law and the joint program at Chicago Booth/UChicago Law. I was also accepted to Harvard Law School. While my work with Katy focused on the MBA component of the application process, given her background as a JD/MBA, she also was able to offer advice and insights surrounding the JD application process, as well as connect me to top advisers who were more familiar with this latter process.

Overall, the key aspects of Katy’s support were: the initial brainstorming, the essay review, interview preparation, and holistic confidence building. At the beginning of your work together, Katy will work with you to brainstorm and assess your professional and personal life to date and bring out the application narrative that is most cohesive and aligns best with who you are. While most of us will have a broad sense of what this narrative is, Katy will play a pivotal role in going through all of the details–her outsider’s perspective is vital here, too–with a fine-toothed comb. This will permit you to flesh out and really provide much more color to your narrative than you otherwise would have.

Second, as you begin to write your essays, Katy will provide candid and valuable feedback so that your writing style and voice can really shine and stand out. She doesn’t sugarcoat and is direct, which really worked for me, especially in the time-constrained context of the application process. Katy will provide top-down support on the essays, from thinking with you strategically about how certain stories and narratives should be presented, to reviewing more tactical facets of the writing process.

Perhaps one of the most impactful components of her support is Katy’s work with you on the interview preparation. She’s coached hundreds of applicants and been on the other side of the application process (as an admissions officer for Stanford GSB), so she clearly knows exactly what the admissions or alumni interviewers are looking for. We worked on preparing many different stories from my professional and personal background that I could bring to the interview, and that I could adapt to different questions. This way, I wasn’t memorizing any script and running the risk of sounding unnatural, but I was ready and confident to share different scenarios from my experience with a beginning, middle, end, and reflection at a moment’s notice.

Finally, a more intangible, but nonetheless invaluable, component of Katy’s help is the confidence and wisdom she instills in you throughout the MBA application process. Devi and I worked together on a two-school comprehensive package. I found the most value in Devi’s expertise helping me put together my story. I came in without a clear post-MBA long-goal or the pieces assembled that got me there, and in the span of a couple of conversations she helped me identify and be able to tell that story. Overall, I was invited to interview for and accepted to one of the schools we worked on together, and I had a positive experience working with Devi. It’s a big financial investment, but I truly think Devi honed my story in a way I couldn’t have on my own.

I have no regrets hiring Devi as my coach. I actually had consultations with several coaches and different firms before meeting Devi and knowing instantly that she was the right fit for me. She has a no-BS attitude and will give you the direct and honest feedback that you need to put your best foot forward for your HBS application.

When I met Devi I had a 700 GMAT score and was considering re-writing. Devi reviewed my profile and instead suggested that I focus on my applications rather than trying to squeak in a few extra GMAT points with my remaining time. She knew that I had lots of community/leadership experience that could compensate for my lower GMAT score. Without her guidance, I would have focused my efforts on the wrong areas. Together, we crafted a compelling application that clearly resonated with the admissions team and I am so grateful I didn’t have to study and rewrite it.

Finally, Devi nailed the mock interviews. I had 3 mocks with Devi and went in feeling very well-prepared. There wasn’t a single question that caught me off-guard and I felt calm and confident knowing that prior to the interview, I had done virtually everything that I could to prepare.

I was an international applicant coming from boutique institutions and a public Ivy. I applied to 4 schools with Katharine and she helped me craft really impactful essays and stories for my applications that helped amplify the impact I drove at those lesser-known institutions. I first applied to B-schools back in 2020 to enroll in Fall 2021.
