Working with Nisha throughout the MBA application process was incredibly valuable. She was consistently quick to turn things around, which made the process feel much more manageable during busy application periods. Her feedback was always thoughtful, actionable, and genuinely improved my essays and overall application strategy.
What I appreciated most was how much time and care she invested in really understanding my background and personal story. She consistently remembered specific details from earlier conversations and was able to reference them when giving feedback or suggesting alternate directions for essays. That level of attentiveness made the process feel very personalized, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about helping me present the strongest and most authentic version of myself. She also had a strong understanding of the different schools and what each program was looking for, which helped me approach every application more strategically and confidently.
I’m incredibly excited to be attending an M7 program this fall, and Nisha played an important role in helping me get there. I’m very grateful for her guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the process, and I would highly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
When I started the MBA admissions process, I had very little understanding of what to expect and felt significant uncertainty around where I could realistically aim or how to position myself. Gavriella completely transformed that experience for me. She helped me thoughtfully curate my story and, more importantly, uncover my strengths and what truly makes me, me.
One of the most impactful aspects of working with Gavriella was how she coached and encouraged me to apply to my dream school, something I initially viewed as out of reach and was hesitant to pursue. She pushed me to take that leap, reminding me that I would never know what was possible unless I tried. At the same time, she ensured I was fully prepared for every step of the process, particularly interviews. With her support, I was not only accepted to my dream program, but to every school I applied to.
What sets Gavriella apart is her ability to both challenge and support you. She guided me through deep reflection on my experiences and values, ensuring they came through clearly and authentically across all of my application materials. She takes the time to truly understand you, not just as an applicant, but as an individual and a future business leader.
She was always available to support me, whether that meant answering questions, hopping on a quick call, or helping me think through ideas and concerns. Her guidance is both practical and insightful, and she has a unique ability to bring clarity and confidence to moments of uncertainty.
I could not have done this without her. Gavriella was an integral coach and partner throughout this process, transforming what initially felt intimidating and overwhelming into an experience that was seamless, enjoyable, and incredibly rewarding and I am sincerely grateful to have had the opportunity to go through it with her.
Working with JA was massive for my MBA application process. Ultimately, I got into the schools I applied to(CBS/Wharton), which makes the entire investment worth it. Looking back at the journey, her resume restructuring and essay editing services were incredibly helpful. She has a talent for helping you find your voice and shaping your professional story into something compelling for an admissions committee.
Furthermore, her interview preparation, especially for Wharton’s TBD format, was exceptional and completely calmed my nerves. I cannot recommend Julie-Anne enough to anyone navigating this competitive process. She is an absolute rockstar!
I had a great experience working with Gavriella on my business school application. I decided very last minute to apply in Round 3 and she was integral in helping me quickly brainstorm, ideate, and draft my materials. She took the time to review everything I sent her in detail and worked very efficiently. She dropped everything to review things as soon as I sent them, sometimes even returning things by morning when I sent them late at night.
I would highly recommend Gavriella to anyone who is applying to business school.
When I began the MBA application process, I spoke with seven different admissions consultants across several firms. They all seemed largely apathetic toward my background, and one even suggested I wait several more years before applying. By the end of those conversations, I felt more discouraged than confident about my candidacy.
Then I met Melissa.
From our very first conversation, Melissa approached my candidacy differently. She immediately identified strengths in my background that others had overlooked and gave me practical, actionable advice on how to strengthen my profile – months before I had formally committed to working with her. That initial willingness to invest time and energy into helping me, with no expectation of anything in return, spoke volumes about both her character and the way she approaches her clients.
Throughout the process, Melissa was an exceptional partner. She struck the perfect balance between encouragement and honesty: pushing me to pursue opportunities and schools I initially thought were out of reach, while also providing candid feedback whenever I drifted away from the strongest version of my story. Her guidance never felt formulaic. She took the time to genuinely understand me as a person – my background, motivations, goals, and weaknesses – and helped me translate those into applications that felt authentic and personal.
What especially stood out was Melissa’s depth of knowledge across the schools I applied to. She understood the nuances of each program’s culture, values, and admissions priorities, and tailored her advice accordingly. Whether we were discussing essays, interview preparation, school selection, or long-term career positioning, I always felt like I was receiving thoughtful and highly informed guidance.
Melissa was consistently organized, responsive, prepared, and deeply invested in my success. At every stage of the process, I felt like I had someone fully in my corner who genuinely cared about helping me achieve my goals.
In the end, I was admitted to Wharton, my dream school, where I will be matriculating this fall. I can confidently say that I would not be in this position without Melissa’s guidance and support. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
Buying Melissa’s three school package was quite literally the best money I’ve ever spent in my life.
If you’re looking for a great MBA coach, look no further. From the moment I started working with Susan, I felt like I had a true partner throughout the entire process. Applying to business school comes with both incredible highs and challenging lows, and Susan helped me stay grounded, focused, and committed to tackling one step at a time.
What I appreciated most was the time she invested in truly understanding my story – what made my background unique, how to position my experiences effectively, and where the biggest obstacles to a compelling application would be. Rather than offering generic advice, she tailored her guidance to me and helped craft a strategy that was effective and manageable while working a stressful full-time job.
As a former athlete, I especially valued that Susan always told me what I needed to hear, not simply what I wanted to hear. Her candid feedback, high standards, and thoughtful coaching pushed me to improve every aspect of my application and ultimately helped me earn admission to several top MBA programs.
Even when we adjusted our strategy along the way, Susan consistently instilled confidence, provided valuable perspective, and helped me focus on the bigger picture. I am incredibly grateful for her support throughout this journey and know she is someone I will stay connected with for years to come.
Working with Gavriella throughout my MBA application process was truly one of the biggest blessings of this journey. As a very non-traditional applicant working as an elementary educator, I initially felt overwhelmed navigating the MBA admissions world, but her guidance and encouragement made such a difference for me. From essay feedback and resume edits to helping me think through school selection, she was incredibly generous with her time and always thoughtful in her advice. What stood out most to me was how genuinely invested she was in helping me succeed. From our very first connection, she provided detailed guidance through email, and when I asked if we could also meet virtually, she enthusiastically agreed to meet with me that same day. She continued working with me pro bono to support me as a public school teacher, yet consistently showed up with so much care and thoughtful feedback. So many of my essay drafts were reviewed until I felt confident in my final applications. I’m incredibly grateful to share that I was admitted to Duke Fuqua and Cornell Johnson. I cannot thank Gavriella enough for her support, and I truly believe applicants, especially those from non-traditional backgrounds, would be in GREAT hands working with her.
Jen was an incredible coach throughout my MBA admissions process. She was thoughtful, insightful, and invested in helping me succeed. She was always easy to coordinate with and brought much value during brainstorming sessions, helping me shape a compelling narrative for my applications. Her interview prep was outstanding; she accurately predicted the style and substance of my interviews, which made me feel confident and prepared going in. I’d highly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions journey.
I highly recommend working with mbaMission and with Christine specifically. Christine made one of the most stressful processes of my life feel manageable. She is incredibly detail-oriented and responsive, keeping track of every requirement across five applications while always making time for my questions. More than logistics, she pushed me to dig deeper into my own story, asking the hard questions that made my application feel cohesive and authentically mine. I’m heading to my top choice, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without her.
I worked with Jen on 3 MBA applications. She was instrumental in supporting me to identify the right story I wanted to tell with my applications. Additionally, i could not have done the applications without Jen’s help structuring and refining my essays. She gave me to confidence to press submit and know that I was putting my best foot forward.
I was referred to Melissa by someone in my network, and working with her ended up being one of the best decisions I made during the MBA application process. From our very first conversation, I could tell how deeply knowledgeable and experienced she was, not only from her years at mbaMission, but also from her background working in business school admissions and attending business school herself. She understands the process from every angle, and that perspective was incredibly valuable throughout my journey.
One of the most impactful parts of working with Melissa was our early brainstorming sessions. She helped me clarify my story, identify the strongest themes in my background, and approach my essays with much more confidence and direction. Her feedback was always thoughtful, strategic, and incredibly prompt. No matter how busy things got, she consistently made herself available for phone calls and Zoom conversations whenever I wanted to talk through ideas or refine an angle.
What stood out most to me was how supportive and encouraging Melissa was throughout the process. Coming from a slightly less traditional background, I sometimes questioned whether my profile would resonate at the very top MBA programs. Melissa never doubted me. She genuinely believed in my story, helped me see the strengths in my experiences, and gave me the confidence to present myself authentically and ambitiously. That support made a huge difference during such a high-stakes and often stressful process.
On top of all of that, Melissa was simply a pleasure to work with. She brought positive energy, honesty, and warmth to every interaction, which made the process feel far less overwhelming and much more enjoyable.
I’m incredibly grateful for her guidance and thrilled with the outcome of going to my dream school. I truly could not recommend Melissa more highly.
Working with Gavi was one of the best decisions I’ve made through this whole process. I came to her with a non-traditional background and what felt like a complicated story to tell, and I needed a consultant who could help me weave those threads into a coherent, compelling narrative.
The application work itself was excellent. My CV and essays got noticeably sharper with her input, she has a way of tightening your language and clarifying your positioning without ever making it sound less like you. With essays especially, she helped me connect the dots between different parts of my career, so every application told a unified story but still felt tailored to the specific school. Interview prep was rigorous, and by the end I actually felt prepared rather than rehearsed.
The results followed: admits from multiple schools I applied to, and the freedom to actually choose where to go. I’ll be heading to one of my top business school choices this fall.
But honestly, when I look back on the past year, what I’m most grateful for has very little to do with applications. The MBA process is draining in a way I didn’t expect; it’s an emotional roller coaster, and it forces you to introspect about your life in ways most people aren’t ready for. Gavi was the steady hand through all of it. She built my confidence in moments I didn’t have much, asked the kind of questions that made me articulate motivations I’d only half thought about, and pushed me to think past the applications themselves toward what I actually want my life and career to look like. More than an admissions consultant, she’s a real coach.
If you’re considering working with her, do it. She’s sharp, generous, and she genuinely cares about your application and about you.
Thank you, Gavi!
I had a great experience working with Gavy throughout the application process. She had an excellent grasp of the overall application timeline and strategy, which made the entire process feel structured and manageable. Communication was always incredibly clear, from her thought process to the way she expressed feedback and refined ideas. Her clear thinking, clear communication, and precise language made our writing process highly efficient and genuinely enjoyable!
Without her support, I honestly do not think I would have been able to produce essays at this level. Beyond simply improving my applications, she helped me better understand who I am, what truly motivates me, and where my passions lie. More importantly, she helped me strategically think through my long-term career path and future direction. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
Working with Jen as my admissions consultant was one of the best decisions I made during my application process. Among her many professional strengths, three stood out in particular:
1. Attention to detail: Jen had a sharp eye for both big-picture improvements and subtle refinements. She’d often bring up school-specific pointers or anecdotes which I’d told her about during the essay brainstorming phase which could further elevate a very good essay or interview answer to an excellent one. 2. Approachability: Jen was quick to turn around essay drafts and respond to questions, and she encouraged brainstorming ideas over calls. Her feedback was constructive without being overwhelming, and her positive and encouraging nature made it very easy for me to build a strong rapport with her. 3. Global school-specific knowledge: This was one of the biggest pros of working with Jen. Her school-specific insights about programs in the US and Europe were extremely impressive. She really helped me showcase my fit with schools in different parts of the world while staying authentic to my story.
Jen played a key role in helping me land 4 acceptances, including one at an M7 school (with scholarship). She was instrumental in helping me translate my quantifiable achievements into compelling essays and clearly articulate my professional impact during interviews. She’s organized, approachable, and knows how to bring out the best in an applicant based on their story. Her positive demeanor made it very easy for me to collaborate with her, and her vast experience working with applicants across both U.S. and international programs adds valuable global perspective, enabling her to guide candidates effectively across different cultures.
I’d strongly recommend working with Jen as your admissions consultant!
Working with Melissa Blakeslee was hands-down the best decision I made during my MBA application journey. I applied to three schools this past cycle — Columbia Business School, Duke Fuqua, and UT Austin McCombs — and was admitted to all three, with scholarship offers from Duke and Texas. This fall, I’ll be heading to CBS, which was my dream school and very much a reach for me. I genuinely don’t think that outcome would have been possible without Melissa in my corner.
What stood out to me from day one was Melissa’s communication. She was unbelievably responsive — emails were almost always answered within hours, and she made herself available whenever I needed to talk something through. The MBA application process can feel isolating and overwhelming, but Melissa’s consistency and accessibility made it feel manageable. I never once felt like I was waiting on her or wondering what the next step should be.
Her strategic thinking is where she really shines. Early on, I was struggling with the GRE, and rather than just push me to keep grinding away at it, Melissa took a step back and looked at the bigger picture. Based on the schools I was targeting, she suggested I pivot to the Executive Assessment (EA). That single recommendation was a game-changer — it played to my strengths and freed up bandwidth to focus on the parts of my application where I could really differentiate myself. It’s a perfect example of how Melissa doesn’t just follow a template; she tailors her advice to each client’s specific situation and target schools.
CBS was always my top choice, but on paper it was a stretch. When I expressed some hesitation about even applying, Melissa encouraged me to go for it. She believed in my story and helped me articulate why CBS was the right fit in a way that was authentic and compelling. Her interview prep was equally strong — she ran thorough mock interviews, gave me sharp, actionable feedback, and made sure I walked in feeling confident and prepared.
Beyond her expertise, Melissa is just a genuinely kind, thoughtful, and encouraging person to work with. She celebrated the wins with me and helped me stay grounded through the stressful moments. If you’re considering working with a consultant for your MBA applications, I cannot recommend Melissa highly enough. She combines deep knowledge of the process with real strategic insight and an unwavering commitment to her clients. I’ll forever be grateful for her guidance!
Cat was something else. She truly cared about me and believed in me from the start despite me coming from an unconventional business sector, still needing to do my GMAT, and starting to apply for Round Two in early December to M7s only. Being in a hurry and having doubts towards the effectiveness of hiring a consultant, I found signing up for a free consultation with her very useful. Transparency, honesty, and flexibility were a must for me, and she had them all, and to me it is fundamental when you pay an expensive hourly service like hers. It was worth every penny, not only because she was able to guide me and calm my nerves, but also her editing never twisted the personality of my voice, but just made it more appealing and concrete. Per my request, she didn’t waste time on my strengths and her constructive feedback enabled me to never make the same mistake in my writing, thus fostering budget savings and constant improvement. Cat’s international perspective and deep knowledge of the US, Europe and Asia was another added value to have her understanding my needs and wants quickly as an international applicant. I got an interview in most of the 5 M7 schools I applied to. We did not leave anything to chance in our mocks because she was able to get to know the people behind the process and prepare mock interviews based on the specific identity of each interviewer and business school. In the end, I got into my #1 choice, the GSB, and I couldn’t be happier. If you have high aspirations and high expectations, Cat is the consultant you want.
I reached out to Gavriella just two days before the Round 1 application deadline, knowing I would instead aim for Round 2. That gave me roughly three months to prepare for multiple GRE attempts while simultaneously writing essays and completing applications for four universities.
During this period, I was also moving continents and navigating major personal life changes, all while continuing my full-time job as a tech consultant. It was an incredibly overwhelming phase, but thankfully, things clicked for me within the 30 minutes of my first consultation with Gavriella.
One thing I learned very quickly is that MBA applications require an immense amount of deep, honest reflection and rigorous iteration. Gavriella’s reflective questions were incredibly effective in helping me uncover stories and patterns from both my recent and distant past, reminding me of strengths, qualities, motivations, and even weaknesses that I had not fully articulated myself before.
What I appreciated most was that she created a space where I could be fully honest. She was willing to listen to and read through the real, messy, and sometimes uncomfortable parts of my experiences without trying to force them into a polished template too early.
Over time, she helped me identify the authentic themes that truly connected my story across all my applications. We went through multiple iterations of essays until they felt coherent, seamless, and genuinely representative of who I am. She also has access to a fantastic network of colleagues whose additional perspectives and consultations occasionally shifted the direction of our thinking entirely, ultimately making the applications much stronger and more cohesive.
I already had an overwhelming amount on my plate during those months, but Gavriella brought structure, clarity, and calmness to the process. Thanks to her guidance, I was ultimately admitted to my top-choice programs, and I genuinely do not think I could have navigated this process the same way without her support!
I could not recommend Gavriella highly enough. I was looking not only for someone to help me with my application strategy, but also for someone who truly understood my non-traditional international background. Working with Gavriella turned out to be more than I could have wished for – the process was structured and clear, I felt supported every step of the way, she gave honest feedback, and she was there with me through the waiting period too. I got into my target M7 and I give a lot of credit to working with Gavriella. My essays captured the essence of who I am within the word limits – she has a real talent for helping you find and shape your own story. She is also incredibly responsive and always replied very quickly. If you are looking for a consultant who will truly get you – look no further.
Harold gave me relevant feedback on my essays, and useful tips for the overall process. The interview prep was something else, he not only prepared me for difficult questions, but gave me a confidence boost in this very stressful part of the process. That made a real difference. He is not your average MBA consultant, you can tell he cares about you. He constantly follows up to see how things are going, and goes above and beyond to maximize your chances of success. He also hosts the MBA Mission podcast, which in my opinion is the best free source of content online. I ended up being admitted to multiple programa, and he even offered to connect me with other clients to help me make the best decision. Harold was very important in my admission process and I’m very thankful for his help. I recommend him to anyone who not only needs expertise but also a friendly coach. I would strongly recommend getting the full package to maximize your experience.
Working with Jessica was one of the best investments I made during the MBA admissions process. Applying to programs like Sloan School of Management and HBS felt overwhelming at first, especially because my background in private banking and family office strategy is somewhat niche and difficult to explain in a compelling, differentiated way. Jessica helped me translate years of complex work into a clear and authentic story that actually reflected who I am.
What stood out most was her ability to push beyond generic MBA “branding” advice. She challenged me to articulate not only what I had accomplished, but why it mattered.
Jessica was also incredibly strong at balancing encouragement with honest feedback. She knew when an essay sounded overly polished, too corporate, or disconnected emotionally, and she pushed me to be more reflective and specific without losing my voice. I especially appreciated how collaborative the process felt.
I would strongly recommend Jessica to anyone applying to top MBA programs, especially candidates with unconventional stories or highly nuanced professional backgrounds. She has a rare ability to identify what makes someone genuinely distinctive and help them communicate it with clarity and confidence.
Working with Susan during my MBA application process was incredibly valuable. In just a month and a half, she helped me bring structure and clarity to my applications at a time that felt very overwhelming. She guided me in identifying the right stories for my essays, helped me think strategically about which test to take, and provided thoughtful feedback throughout the process. What I appreciated most was her support during stressful moments. Preparing interviews with her was also extremely helpful, her insights made a real difference in how I presented myself. I’m very grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process.
Susan was the perfect match for me from the very beginning of my MBA application process. She’s genuinely kind, easy to talk to, and honest. she cares enough to tell you the truth, not just what you want to hear. She’s also a consummate professional : no detail, large or small, gets past her, and she really helped me structure my essays and get the best version of myself onto the page. She cares about your process from start to finish. I couldn’t have done this without her, and I’d recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA journey.
Nisha was very helpful for each step of the application process. I do not believe I would have the outcomes I had without her. With her guidance I was able to be admitted to my top choice school along with other M7/T15 programs that acted as leverage for higher merit scholarships! From an ROI standpoint it just makes sense. She was patient, kind, and encouraging in the times when it was needed most!
Exceptional would be an understatement to describe my experience working with Jessica.
I originally met Jessica after speaking with multiple potential consultants, and from that very first conversation, it was evident she was the right partner for me. Since day one, it was clear that she is extremely knowledgeable, qualified, and experienced in top-tier MBA admissions, while also providing honest and constructive feedback. But most importantly, she is truly an incredible coach—always in my corner, finding the exceptional aspects of my story that I may not have seen myself.
From the beginning, Jessica was thorough in understanding every aspect of my professional, personal, and academic background, helping me shape my experiences into a cohesive narrative and develop in-depth applications that brought the best of my story forward. What started as an anxious process became an empowering one, where her guidance paired thoughtful story development with detailed essay & resume coaching. Our calls were where I gained the most insights into the admissions process, as a result of her expertise. Throughout this experience, she was always invested in helping me bring out the best in my applications, while also providing tactical feedback on where I could improve.
As a result, I was accepted to all three programs that I applied to, including both HBS and Stanford GSB. Without a doubt, I wouldn’t have accomplished this without her. I believe that Jessica finds what makes people exceptional in their stories.
Although I know this process is primarily focused on gaining admission to these schools, I do want to emphasize that the application process itself was lifechanging for me. Jessica was more than a consultant, she was also an incredibly impactful coach. She makes you believe in yourself, understands your story, and helps you bring the best of who you are to these applications, all while bringing her knowledge, experience, and expertise in top-tier MBA admissions.
I am very grateful that I had Jessica as an advisor alongside me through this journey. She is an experienced expert within this field, and also a true mentor. I could not recommend her enough.
Working with Jessica was the best decision I made when deciding to apply to business school.
She is incredibly knowledgeable about MBA programs. In fact, the schools I applied to were largely based on her expertise and understanding of what I was looking for in a program. Thanks to her the school I ultimately chose ended up being a perfect fit.
Beyond knowing exactly which programs aligned with my goals and what each school was looking for in a candidate, Jessica was exceptional at helping me identify the right stories to tell about myself. After just one call, I felt like she understood me deeply and helped me craft essays that authentically highlighted my strengths.
For both my essays and resume, she pushed me to be more concise, direct, and impactful in my writing. Her feedback was honest, specific, and incredibly thoughtful, which ultimately helped me gain admission to almost every program I applied to.
As someone with ADHD, standardized testing has always been a challenge for me. Jessica not only helped build my confidence throughout that process, but also guided me toward alternative testing options accepted by the programs I was targeting. She recommended tutoring companies she knew had strong track records and even connected me with an incredible tutor who specialized in working with students with ADHD. I ultimately achieved my dream score and got into my dream school.
If you are looking for a true partner throughout the MBA application process, I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough. She never misses a deadline, is often early with feedback, and has an incredible ability to make what feels like an overwhelming process feel straightforward and manageable.
Working with Harold throughout my MBA application journey was one of the best decisions I made during this process. From the very beginning, all the way through admissions results, scholarship negotiations, and ultimately deciding where to enroll, Harold played a major role in helping me navigate every step with confidence and clarity.
I applied to seven business schools with his guidance and was successful at more than half of them, receiving major scholarships at every school I got accepted to. I’ll be attending MIT Sloan, and I genuinely believe a significant part of my success came from Harold’s collaboration, insight, and support throughout the process.
What stood out most about Harold was how personable, responsive, and invested he was. He was always willing to hop on a call, answer questions quickly, and provide thoughtful feedback no matter how big or small the concern was. He helped me significantly improve my resume, pushed me to think creatively in my essays, and worked closely with me to tailor my story authentically and strategically for each school. He also provided valuable interview preparation and helped me think through difficult admissions and enrollment decisions once results started coming in.
Every conversation I had with him left me feeling more prepared, more confident, and more optimistic about the process. He has a great ability to make applicants feel supported while also pushing them to present the strongest possible version of themselves. He is transparent, honest, and easy to work with. No question ever felt too complicated or too insignificant/dumb for him to address thoughtfully.
My advice to anyone applying to business school would be to start the process as early as possible and strongly consider working with Harold. Beyond being an exceptional consultant, he is genuinely fun, kind, and supportive throughout what can otherwise be a very stressful experience.
One thing I especially appreciated is that the relationship doesn’t feel transactional or temporary. Even after getting accepted and preparing to start business school, I still feel comfortable reaching out to Harold and staying in touch.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Working with Susan ended up being one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application process. I wouldn’t have gotten into Stanford without her!
She was far more than an essay editor or admissions advisor. She took the time to understand what I was trying to say, then pushed me to express it with more clarity, depth, and precision than I thought I could. Her standard for excellence was incredibly high, and that made me raise my own bar throughout the process.
Her guidance was especially meaningful on my Stanford “What Matters Most” essay. The final version became one of the pieces of writing I am proudest of. It felt honest, personal, and deeply reflective of who I am and who I want to become. The conversations and reflection that went into that essay were so impactful that they genuinely reshaped how I thought about my MBA goals and priorities.
Beyond the writing itself, Susan was also a real source of motivation and perspective. When interview invitations came in, she helped me stay grounded while also reminding me to appreciate how far I had come. What made the experience stand out is that it never felt transactional. Susan brought genuine care, responsiveness, and thoughtfulness to the process. She was fast with feedback, direct when needed, and deeply invested in helping me put forward the strongest and most authentic version of my story.
I would strongly recommend Susan to anyone looking for an MBA consultant who combines sharp judgment, strategic admissions insight, and real mentorship. She made me a better applicant, but more importantly, she helped me better understand and articulate my own story.
Working with Nisha was an absolute pleasure. Her approach was highly personalized, and her guidance was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She always provided thoughtful advice and clear direction, helping me effectively convey my story.
Thanks to Nisha, I got into my top school! I truly can’t recommend working with her enough.
I was admitted to Chicago Booth, Yale SOM, NYU Stern, and Michigan Ross – all schools I genuinely wanted to attend. Last year I had a very different experience, and going into this cycle as an international applicant, my confidence was not high. Nisha helped me rebuild that from the ground up. She supported me through every step – school selection, resume, essays, and interview prep. The mbaMission resources were also particularly helpful during interview preparation. The interview preparation was especially valuable. Nisha conducted mock interviews tailored to each school, and many of the questions she asked came up in my actual interviews. Having school-specific preparation made a real difference in how confident I felt walking in. I have already recommended Nisha to fellow prospective applicants in Korea, and I would do so again without hesitation. Working with her was both productive and genuinely enjoyable. Thank you!
Applying for an MBA while working full-time is extremely daunting, and Nisha made the journey possible. She was so insightful, kind, and helpful in her guidance. At every turn, she had helpful tips and fantastic resources for me. I am very lucky to have gotten to work with her, and I am so excited to start my MBA journey. I strongly recommend Nisha as an advisor for anyone.
Working with Jessica was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application process. Her guidance was thoughtful, strategic, and genuinely personalized and it changed the quality of my application and the confidence I had submitting it. From day one, Jessica helped me get to the heart of my story. She took time to understand my professional background and the personal experiences behind it; what motivates me, what I value, and where I’m headed. She then helped me pull out clear themes and shape them into a narrative that felt authentic, cohesive, and compelling. She’s also incredibly good at asking the questions you didn’t realize you needed. Jessica balanced encouragement with direct, constructive feedback, and she pushed me to be clearer and more specific especially when articulating my goals and impact. I walked away with a much stronger point of view and a sharper way of communicating it. Jessica has a great eye for detail without ever taking over your voice. She helped me tighten language, strengthen structure, and elevate the polish of my essays and short answers while making sure everything still sounded like me. The final product felt like the best, most intentional version of my own work. Jessica brings strong judgment, empathy, and exceptional communication skills to every step of the process. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone applying to MBA programs to help you find your story, sharpen your message, and feel supported from start to finish.
Susan is the best MBA coach out there! Prior to even working with Susan, she provided me with incredible advice and support during my GMAT journey. Throughout the application process, she was invaluable to my application and the biggest reason I was accepted to three top business schools. Her ability to shape and revise my essay application questions based on my specific story was outstanding. Truthfully, I was hesitant to spend the money on an MBA coach because of the costliness, but I can say without hesitation that Susan was worth every penny and then some! She was the biggest reason I was accepted to my dream school and I can’t recommend her enough! If you are thinking about an MBA coach, Susan is your person!
Devi was instrumental in my path to HBS. She was so helpful in getting me out of my “corporate lingo” and showing up as my authentic self. Devi has deep expertise and cares deeply and genuinely about her clients. I can’t recommend her enough!
The support and guidance I received from Michael was essential to my acceptance into my top choice university and even a partial scholarship! His method truly stands out. Michael listens intently to your past experiences and future goals to ensure you showcase the best version of yourself. I am certain a major reason for my success was his coaching. He helped me navigate the confusing and varied application processes of different schools, but more importantly, he helped me ‘hit the bullseye’ regarding the specific information each institution values. A particular experience I truly appreciate was our work on a required video essay. After my first recording, I felt I had done a great job, Michael agreed it was strong. However, he pushed me to record even better versions, not because the first was lacking, but because he knew I was capable of more. That is the essence of working with Michael, he pushes you to reveal your best self even when you don’t realize it’s there. As an international student, I especially appreciated Michael’s honesty. While he never discouraged me from pursuing my dream schools, he helped me set realistic expectations based on my background and objectives. Being an outsider to the U.S. university system, it is easy to focus only on a school’s prestige, but Michael ensured I found the right match for my career goals. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a strategic and dedicated consultant who listens to who you are, what you need, and who you want to be.
Apart from her knowledge and constant encouragement, Nisha offered extremely timely, helpful and precise feedback to my resume and all necessary supplemental essays. Thanks to her help, I got into my #1 choice for my master’s degree. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
I never thought I could get into my dream school, and that was only possible because of Harshad. I have a below-median GPA of 3.36 and a GRE score of 323. I am not a strong writer, and I had no confidence in my chances of getting into an MBA program. That’s when I reached out to mbaMission and was referred to Harshad. From the very first day, Harshad made me believe that I was good enough for any school and that I should trust in myself. He asked me not to worry about my writing style and instead trust the process. The process started with a brainstorming session where we finalized the stories I could use for my essays. A note: I would never have thought of using these stories in my writing, but Harshad helped me shape my narrative into something I never imagined. He was very friendly, calm, and patient during the editing process. Whenever I didn’t understand his feedback, we would quickly get on a call and talk it through. I applied to five schools with Harshad and three on my own using the same materials we prepared together. I received interview invitations from six schools: Tuck, Darden, Yale, UCLA, McCombs, and Cornell. I was admitted to UCLA, Yale, and McCombs, and was waitlisted at Cornell. I couldn’t believe I received this so many interviews and acceptances, and I attribute all of this to Harshad. He also prepared me for interviews and constantly encouraged me to believe in myself. He genuinely wanted me to succeed. Fast forward, I am going to Yale this fall, and I couldn’t have done it without him. He is the best consultant out there.
Due to Jessica’s guidance, I went 6/6 on acceptances and earned $400K in scholarships. But far deeper than that, she helped me find my voice.
What moved me most was how deeply she listened. She took my scattered stories, anxieties, and ambitions and uncovered the emotional and strategic thread beneath them. She has a rare gift for finding, and gently elevating, your true voice, even when you’re still searching for it yourself.
She masterfully balances big-picture strategy with line-by-line execution. She saw patterns I could not see and went far beyond editing my words—drawing out insights I hadn’t fully articulated, then translating them into compelling narratives that felt unmistakably my own. I left every conversation more connected to the person I want to become.
She is a wise advocate for you—and exactly who you want in your corner to help you achieve your highest potential.
I worked with Gavriella throughout my MBA application process and was admitted to all three of HBS, Stanford GSB, and Wharton. I genuinely think you would be hard-pressed to find a better MBA consultant. The below are detailed reasons I think she is the best. In summary, what separates her is not just that she is smart or kind, but that she goes unusually deep in understanding who you are, has world class writing skills, and helps turn everything in your application into an authentic, school-specific storytelling.
– She has great taste and storytelling instincts. In the age of AI, where some writing feels increasingly commoditized, Gavriella’s ability to extract the right story, frame it in a specific way for a specific school, and deliver a feeling to the reader is still unique. In my opinion, this is Gavriella’s best and most valuable skill. – She is not comfortable with mediocrity. She is not someone who will just “say yes” to make things easier. I submitted a bad first draft for HBS, and instead of doing what would have been easy and working off that draft, she told me to restart. The essay ended up in a place that no amount of editing on the first draft would have reached. That judgment mattered because in a process where most drafts can be made “pretty good,” she knew when something needed to be rebuilt instead of refined. – She goes deep personally in a way that is rare. For me, that meant reading all 30 pages of my very long “get to know me” summary and asking thoughtful thematic questions that helped surface things I had never fully articulated about myself. That depth allowed her to help me craft stories that felt authentic to my background and consistent across my essays, interview, and overall application. – She goes above and beyond. My Why Stanford essay went through 15+ iterations before being submitted with changes going back and forth that were sometimes just a single word.
There are other points I could bring up about how easy Gavriella is to work with, how kind she is, and how talented she is. Those things matter as well. The points above are what, in my opinion, separate Gavriella and why I would recommend her to anyone looking for an MBA consultant.
Working with Gavriella was one of the best decisions I made throughout my MBA journey. From day one, I felt like I was in thoughtful, considerate, and deeply experienced hands and that feeling never wavered. What immediately stood out was how organized and strategic she was. Gavriella knew exactly which essays to tackle first and in what order across schools, minimizing redundant work and making the entire process far more efficient than I ever could have managed on my own. She kept me completely on track with deadlines, supplemental materials, and the small details that are easy to overlook. Nothing fell through the cracks. I genuinely felt I could trust her blindly, and that kind of confidence is rare in a process this high-stakes. Her responsiveness was remarkable, as she was available and engaged even through the holiday period, which meant I never felt stranded or anxious waiting for feedback when time was tight. Beyond the logistics, Gavriella was a true creative partner. Her contribution to my essays was fundamental and she helped me find and articulate my story in a way that felt authentic and compelling. Her interview prep was equally invaluable, giving me the tools and confidence to walk in feeling ready. What could have been an overwhelming and stressful experience was, thanks to Gavriella, genuinely manageable and at times even enjoyable. I have already recommended her to friends who are now working with her, which says everything. I cannot recommend her enough!
I am so grateful to Gavriella! When I reached out, I had about a month to pull together my R1 applications and was sorely lacking in MBA essay and interview etiquettes. Gavriella helped me understand the do’s and don’ts of the application process in ways I couldn’t have learned from online research. Her strength as an editor and consultant lies in highlighting a candidate’s uniqueness while helping them sound MBA ready. She helped me craft applications I was proud to submit. Although investing in a consultant can feel daunting, especially with the additional costs of tests and applications, the money was 1000% well spent. She helped me gain admission to both top-10 schools I applied to, and I received a full scholarship to one of them, which exceeded my loftiest expectations.
Beyond editing my essays and preparing me for interviews, Gavriella encouraged me (multiple times, thank you!) to explore different testing options, which truly elevated the caliber of schools I was competitive for. This is just one example of her deep expertise. Finally, Gavriella is a genuine pleasure to work with, combining frankness with empathy. I am truly indebted to her and encourage anyone applying to book a consultation.
I had the pleasure of working with Gavriella on my Executive MBA applications, and I could not be happier with her support from start to finish. Gavriella is highly organized and always accessible for brainstorming or ad hoc questions, ensuring I felt supported every step of the way. She took the time to deeply understand my background, goals, and leadership style. Through her thoughtful guidance, I was able to clarify my personal brand and weave my milestone accomplishments into a compelling application narrative. The entire process was structured, detailed, and remarkably efficient. Thanks to her coaching, I completed applications for two programs and was accepted into both. I am now enrolled in my top-choice program and deeply grateful to Gavriella for giving me the confidence to succeed. I knew from day one I was in expert hands!
Susan was critical throughout my ~2 year journey. A journey that has me headed to UPenn Wharton.
She was helpful in validating my goals, learning about the landscape, putting together my applications, and preparing for my interviews.
Susan cares so much about what she does and the people she works with. Her generosity, seriousness, responsiveness, and commitment to the people she guides is out of this world.
I consider myself lucky that we cross paths and I’m proud to have had her in my corner.
Working with Gavriella was one of the most impactful investments I’ve made – not just for my MBA applications, but for my own career clarity and confidence. Gavriella doesn’t just help you package your story for an application; she helps you actually discover it. She shows up as both a brilliant admissions consultant and a gifted career coach. She has an incredible ability to listen deeply, connect patterns across your life experiences, and uncover your life’s themes and throughlines that feel authentic and compelling to help unlock your highest potential as a candidate. That process helped me reconnect with parts of myself that had gotten lost after years of working long hours in a demanding industry. When I shared my new career direction with friends and family, their reaction was always, ‘That is SO you.’ It’s a testament to how clearly she sees her clients – often better than they can see themselves! Organizationally, Gavriella is exceptional. She kept my application process ahead of schedule, was highly responsive to my emails, was quick with essay reviews, and always caught me before I could overthink something or spiral. Her insight into each school was incredible and she was able to help me tailor each essay to exactly what a school valued most. Her judgment was excellent, and she made an overwhelming process feel manageable and even enjoyable. Beyond the work, she is a joy to be around – always kind, professional, upbeat, and genuinely invested in your success. I finished the process with admittance to my top-choice program! I can say with full confidence that I would not be in this position without her. THANK YOU, GAVRIELLA!
Thanks to Cat’s guidance, I got admitted to Wharton, the only school I applied to in Round 1. I 10000% recommend Cat to anyone targeting HSW or other top MBA programs. Her professionalism, structure, and deep admissions insight will significantly elevate your application. Beyond admission results, this process also helped me better understand myself, such as my achievements, strengths, weaknesses, and long-term direction. Working with Cat was not only an application journey but also a meaningful period of personal growth. I’ll elaborate below on the step-by-step details of my work with her.
After thoughtful research on many mbaMission consultants to collaborate with, I felt Cat was the best fit for me for three main reasons: 1. We both come from a sales & trading background; 2. Wharton was my clear first choice, and Cat is a Wharton MBA graduate; 3. As an ABC who is fluent in Chinese, I believed we would share similar perspectives and communicate efficiently throughout the application process, which turned out to be very true.
We started working together in May, which I initially thought was quite early since I was only applying to one or two HSW schools and was extremely busy at work. However, Cat never took a relaxed approach. She designed a very structured weekly schedule for me to follow. I am naturally a procrastinator, so having clear deadlines made a huge difference. Cat’s disciplined process effectively eliminated my tendency to delay work. Whenever I was slow to respond, she would proactively check in to see how things were progressing. I really appreciated this level of accountability and support.
And for the essay part, I am incredibly grateful to Cat for her guidance on my essays. Because of her Wharton background and deep understanding of the school’s culture, the essay drafting process was both efficient and enjoyable. One method I particularly loved was her request that I started with bullet points rather than fully written sentences. This approach made it much easier to generate authentic content before refining the narrative. Another thing worth to mention: although Wharton opened its Class of 2028 application in mid-July, Cat asked me to begin drafting essays as early as June. This early preparation allowed the entire process to progress smoothly and without stress. Thanks to her familiarity with Wharton, my essays became highly polished, professional, and clearly aligned with the school’s values and culture.
Cat’s professionalism and deep familiarity with both the sales & trading industry and Wharton admissions were also invaluable in refining my resume. After multiple revisions and detailed feedback, I can definitely say this is the best resume I have ever had. She reviewed my resume from an admissions officer’s perspective, frequently asking for clarification when something was unclear and encouraging me to provide additional details. She then helped me restructure sections to make my experience more impactful and easier to understand. Most importantly, Cat leveraged her own sales & trading experience to guide me in presenting measurable achievements, such as including strong performance metrics. These insights were incredibly valuable and played a significant role in strengthening my application.
For the interview preparation, I had a great experience conducting mock TBD discussions with two mbaMission consultants. In addition, Cat provided very detailed guidance for the ten-minute personal interview following the TBD. Her preparation helped me stay focused, confident, and calm throughout the interview process.
Additionally, I also enjoyed working with Cat on other parts of the application. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured every section reflected my best self. Even for activities and awards, she asked thoughtful questions and helped refine the wording to maximize clarity and impact.
And during the entire application season, I had some concerns about my application and performance of interview, I emailed Cat and Cat always reassured me and provided thoughtful encouragement, which largely helped ease my anxiety.
Thank you again, Cat!
When I began my MBA application journey, I was hesitant about investing in a consultant due to the premium price. I did my research and decided to work with Gavi. Even before all of the acceptances rolled in, I could say that this was one of the best investments I had ever made!
Gavi took the time to understand my profile, give a fair evaluation, and ask the right questions to extract compelling stories from my work and personal experiences. Taking those experiences and distilling them into essays felt so natural. Ideas flowed and her edits strengthened the messages being told while preserving my voice. As an engineer, she helped me craft my technical experience in a way that non-technical readers could understand. With Gavi helping me, I was able to present my best self to all of my dream schools.
It became clear within days the value that Gavi brought the table. Even before I officially started working with her after our initial free consultation, she provided me with great advice and provided helpful resources. As a busy professional, I appreciated that Gavi worked around my schedule and always made herself available when I needed her. The structured approach she provided kept me on track to complete all of my applications by the deadlines and, in turn, kept my stress levels low.
If you are considering hiring Gavi as consultant, I would strongly recommend you pull the trigger. On top of her effectiveness in getting great results, she is a truly kind and thoughtful person. In the high-pressure and stressful world of MBA applications, I can’t imagine anyone better to have supporting you than Gavi.
Harold was instrumental to my MBA application. I planned to DIY my application, and have an advisor to only triangulate and review my essays in a targeted manner. I feel compelled to share that I was impressed by the value of Harold’s highly effective essay review, feedback, and suggestion. The specificity and criticalness formed stark contrast with feedback I was getting from AI.
Another element that I wanted to share was that even though I was an hourly client, I did not feel that I was the second priority. I was sensing that hourly clients would tend to be de-prioritized from speaking with other advisors during free consultation sessions, but Harold’s responsiveness and quality of advice soon assured me that it would not be the case working with him.
I had an outstanding experience with mbaMission and highly recommend their services to anyone applying to business school. Working with Christine Patel was a game changer for my application journey. She was diligent, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. Her guidance pushed me to think more deeply, write more clearly, and present the strongest possible version of myself.
One of the biggest strengths of mbaMission is the structured roadmap it provides from the very beginning. The process is not just about writing essays. It starts with deep introspection. Before even touching applications, I was guided through exercises that helped me clearly identify my strengths, weaknesses, and the key experiences that define my story. That foundation made everything that followed, including essays, short answers, and interviews, far more cohesive and authentic.
Christine did not just edit essays. She helped me find and articulate my voice. I came into the process knowing I wanted to pivot from healthcare into consulting, but I struggled to clearly communicate why. Through our work together, I was able to build a compelling and logical narrative that tied my past experiences to my future goals. The process was highly iterative, and with each round of feedback, I could see clear improvement in both my writing and clarity of thought. By the time I reached interviews, I felt extremely well prepared and confident.
The OnTrack modules were also incredibly valuable. They helped me understand how to approach different schools, tailor my messaging, and learn each program’s culture and strengths. Beyond admissions, Christine also provided strategic guidance on scholarships, which played a major role in my results.
With her support, I received admission offers from UNC Kenan-Flagler, Texas McCombs, Michigan Ross, and UVA Darden, all with scholarship offers. I was also able to successfully negotiate increased funding using the insights she provided. I will be attending Michigan Ross, and I genuinely believe that this outcome would not have been possible without Christine and mbaMission.
For anyone interested in healthcare, or really any field, I strongly recommend Christine. Her ability to bring out your story, combined with her attention to detail, enthusiasm, and commitment to your success, makes her an exceptional consultant.
I worked with Cat Ho through mbaMission, and she genuinely shaped how I thought about my application, not just the essays themselves, but the whole strategy and how I was presenting myself.
From the start, she was easy to talk to in a way that mattered. I didn’t feel like I had to show up with everything figured out. She gave me room to think out loud, but she also kept things organized and was always flexible around scheduling, which honestly saved me more than once during a hectic few months.
The thing that surprised me most was how much she was able to pull out of my own background. Experiences I’d written off as ordinary, she’d push back on, asking questions until something real surfaced. That’s how themes like curiosity and cross-cultural perspective ended up at the center of my story, rather than just footnotes. It’s genuinely hard to see that stuff in yourself, and she had a knack for it.
She was patient throughout the whole process, never making me feel rushed, but she also didn’t sugarcoat things. If something wasn’t landing, she’d say so, and then immediately tell me why and what to try instead. That combination of honesty and direction was exactly what I needed. Her turnaround times were fast, which kept things moving during a stretch where deadlines were tight. And the feedback never felt generic; it was always specific to what I was actually trying to say.
By the end, Cat felt less like an editor and more like a thought partner. She helped me see my own story more clearly, and that made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming.
Katy was an exceptional guide throughout my MBA application journey. I’m from South Africa, ut have a traditional consulting background so wasn’t sure how I would fare through the process. I applied to Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB, and Columbia Business School, and with her support I secured interviews at all three schools, admission to two, and am still awaiting one final outcome! I cannot believe it! What made Katy stand out was her ability to help me tell my story in a way that felt fully authentic while also bringing out its strongest and clearest version. She never tried to turn me into a packaged applicant or push me toward a story that didn’t feel true to who I am. Instead, she helped me think more deeply about my experiences, identify the themes that genuinely connected my personal and professional journey, and provide guidance on how I could shape these into compelling essays and interview stories that were true to me. She was thoughtful, sharp, and incredibly effective in helping me draw out the strongest examples from my life and work and prepare for interviews in a way that made me feel confident and grounded. Just as importantly, Katy brings a rare combination of empathy, warmth, and honesty to her coaching. She is kind, encouraging, and genuinely invested in the people she works with, but she is also candid and insightful when something needs to be stronger. Throughout the process, I felt that she truly believed in me, and that made a huge difference. I’m very grateful to have worked with her and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a coach who combines deep expertise with real care.
One first free consultation with Harshad and I knew I wanted to work with him. And I made this decision after speaking with over 10 consultants across the globe.
What stood out is his genuine care. Harshad spent hours on brainstorming sessions to understand me – not only my motivations but also me as a person. We uncovered what he calls the ‘unknown knowns’, by helping me reflect on my life decisions and how those have led me now to pursue my MBA.
Harshad’s highly organized process helped me stay on track. Right from school shortlisting, resume creation, essay editing, his methodical approach made the overwhelming process so much simpler. With separate brainstorming sessions for each school, Harshad helped break down each essay prompt and read between the lines. This helped me truly understand what each program was looking for. These conversations made me reflect intensely and pick the right stories to share.
His involvement really stood out in the turnaround time, working across time zones, late nights, and even weekends. With him as my trusted advisor, I’d reach out for the tiniest of my queries – choice of recommenders or timing my application. Often, he’d refine the essays even when we were satisfied with the drafts. His striving for so much perfection and high quality motivated me to work even harder.
His honest and direct feedback is what any candidate needs in this process. I distinctly remember my Sloan cover letter. Two days before the deadline, on a weekend, I’d sent my drafts to Harshad. He told me plainly that my draft wasn’t going to make it. How he is different is he provided me with strong, actionable feedback to re-curate my entire cover letter and worked tirelessly to express my stories exactly as I meant to in such short time. Today, the Sloan cover letter I’ve submitted remains very special to me and is world apart in quality from my first draft.
In the age of AI-driven storytelling and the noise around it, our process was entirely human – not once did we use AI nor did Harshad suggest it. This made months of working together deeply personal and transformative, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
As I was applying in Round 2 from an overrepresented pool, all other consultants I reached recommended targeting only T-15 schools. Harshad is the only one who believed in me and our work together enough to aim for M7s. I received interviews from four M7 schools and I’m heading to MIT Sloan this fall, something I couldn’t have achieved without Harshad’s guidance and motivation.
One of my most valuable aspects was the mock interviews with Harshad. They were so school specific – in the nature of the interviewer behavior to questions tailored to my profile, that in the actual interview, I felt super confident and ready.
Beyond all, I’m glad that I have gained a mentor for a lifetime in Harshad. He’s been one of the first few people I’ve wanted to share my every result with. He’s been my trusted advisor and continues to guide me beyond applications – from scholarship negotiations to planning my B-school journey.
The MBA application process can be a daunting experience, but with Harshad on my side, I felt confident at every step of the way! There isn’t an aspect of MBA application process he didn’t surpass my expectations in.
A five-star review doesn’t even begin to capture it 🙂
