Essays, interviews, school visits, recommendation letters, and resumes are all guided by an integrated strategy, managed through our All-In service by one dedicated and accountable consultant.
SBC’s All-In Service includes 8 modules:
1) The SBC System™ begins with meticulous matchmaking before we begin an engagement or accept payment.
2) Personal Assessment & Critical Reflection. Your primary consultant will work to understand you authentically along multiple dimensions and create a strategy reflecting what MBA programs are looking for. Your consultant will dig into the who, what, how and why that forms your story through our 360° Personal Orbit ™.
3) We’ll develop a winning personal MBA Application Strategy that answers clearly, “Why should I accept this applicant over the other ones who look equally qualified on paper?”
4) Personal branding is crucial for making your MBA application stand out, and admissions teams love a well-crafted story. Your consultant will help you develop a compelling and cohesive narrative that ties together every aspect of your application—resume, essays, recommendations, and more—tailored to meet each school’s unique expectations.
5) Your success is driven by a collaborative SBC team effort. Your primary consultant taps into a network of former admissions officers and experts for additional insights and you receive exclusive access to The Vault, a comprehensive resource center with decades of application materials.
6) Before submitting your MBA application, ensure it’s flawless with our Flight Test™, where a former admissions officer reviews your entire package with fresh eyes.
7) Take the stress out of interviewing with one-on-one prep with your primary consultant and group prep sessions led by former admissions officers.
8) Our support doesn’t stop once your application is submitted; we continue to assist you in navigating admissions decisions, waitlists, and deferral letters until you accept an offer.

DeeDee was extremely helpful throughout my MBA application process. As a verbose writer, I struggled at times to distill my thoughts into concise, effective buckets that easily conveyed my message. DeeDee was instrumental in helping me hone my narrative, words, and was an overall calming and confidence presence throughout my application process. She was clear, pushed me where needed and gave me the right feedback at the right time. I was admitted to Booth, Kellogg, Wharton, and waitlisted at GSB!
DeeDee was an incredible consultant and helped me tremendously throughout the application process. She helped me create a creative, cohesive narrative and provided prompt & direct feedback on essays up until the final app deadlines. Although I was initially waitlisted at 2 schools, she helped me navigate this situation with both schools, as the approaches needed to be different. I ultimately received acceptances from both of these programs and will be attending my dream school of MIT Sloan thanks to DeeDee’s support!
I was very fortunate to get into MIT Sloan’s full time MBA program, and it wouldn’t have been possible without DeeDee. She was exceptional at helping me think about how to position myself in the application essays. Throughout the entire process she was incredibly responsive, organized, and on top of everything which is great during what is always a stressful process. All in all, she was amazing!
DeeDee’s guidance was instrumental in my successful admission to the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA program. Her expertise, particularly in preparing me for the behavioral interview format, helped me approach the process with confidence and clarity. The two mock interviews we conducted were invaluable, providing tailored feedback that elevated my responses and presentation. I also greatly appreciated Esther’s support in organizing the sessions seamlessly. Together, their efforts made a significant difference in my application journey. I highly recommend their services to any prospective SFMBA candidates.
DeeDee is an incredible consultant. She is highly experienced, extremely responsive, and always on point. Her feedback is well-balanced, highlighting both what works and what can be improved based on the expectations of the task at hand. She consistently made me feel capable and encouraged with her advice and helpful pointers.
I chose SBC without any recommendations from someone I know, so I began this journey without knowing what to expect. However, having Esther provide me with her honest initial thoughts encouraged me to take on this journey with them. The application process can be very stressful and time-consuming, but with Esther’s and DeeDee’s support, I was able to organize my tasks and stay on track at all times. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a smooth and efficient journey through this process.
Deedee did an amazing job! She supported me throughout my entire application process. She helped me organize my ideas and communicate my unique strengths, particularly in response to the essay questions. Her feedback about my writing was invaluable, and my responses were better because of her advice. She was very efficient with her communication and always focused on the key issues that I needed help with.
Deedee helped me with the Sloan pre-interview questions and coached me for the Sloan interview. She is such an MIT expert and a professional at what she does that she brilliantly architectured me putting my best foot forward in both scenarios. She left me feeling so confident that I rocked the interview and eventually got in. Hire her, you will not regret it!
I cannot recommend DeeDee enough – especially for a business school applicant coming from a non-traditional career/background. DeeDee was a fantastic consultant to partner with for my applications because of her attention to detail, willingness/availability to get on a call and talk out my ideas, and her candid/honest but optimistic feedback. She helped me select which parts of my background/profile to highlight and helped me identify countermeasures to potential weaker spots in my application.
I originally chose SBC because of its reputation for having their consultants work with fewer students in each application cycle. My decision was made after consultations with Esther and DeeDee which made me feel the time and investment would be worth my while. Having insight into what areas of the application are most important, understanding the interview process, and general guidance on admissions proved invaluable.
With DeeDee’s guidance, I secured admissions to 6+ Top 10 business schools with both full and partial scholarships.
I came from a technical professional background that doesn’t typically send many people to top MBA programs. I didn’t have anyone in my network to guide the application process. DeeDee, with her years of experience as a former admissions officer, provided that guidance and showed me a clear path to a strong application.
DeeDee’s expertise, timely replies, and thoughtful comments certainly strengthened my application and I’m happy to share I have my choice between attending Booth and Ross with a full-tuition scholarship at the latter. I would recommend her services to anyone looking to submit a stronger application.
DeeDee from SBC was a crucial part of my MBA application process. She helped me craft my story, personalize my essays, and prep for my interviews. When my essays were not quite there yet, she pushed me to think deeply about the essays until they were the best they could be for submission.
I started working with DeeDee in May of 2022 and I thought I was starting too “late” for the application process. Additionally, I was nervous that my GMAT score was too low (710) for my target schools. DeeDee helped me gain the confidence I needed to believe in myself during the process and she helped me set a clear timeline to ensure that I did not feel behind throughout the process. I submitted every single application early thanks to DeeDee’s help.
I had some issues with my essays and was not a professional at writing and designing resumes, so she helped me with my application. She was an excellent guide; She explained all the details that mattered and showed me how to write and complete my application better. Also, she has a fantastic attitude, and it was such a great time when she coached me. If you need to focus on all points, I recommend you hire her for help.
I am thrilled and really excited to confirm that I got admitted to two of the B-schools I applied to. Fuqua was definitely my first choice and I have decided to pursue my MBA from Duke this fall for the class of 2024 with a merit scholarship.
The B-school application is a rigorous process. DeeDee provided the strategy and approach to each of the applied schools which helped me from day 1 to analyze my strengths and weaknesses against each school. DeeDee helped me build and navigate my story in the most simplistic and authentic way which naturally came out to be the best version of me.
Working with DeeDee was exceptional with her friendly and point-to-point interactions. DeeDee was really prompt in her response whenever I needed support to build my application. She has a ton of admissions experience and you can feel that when you interact and work with her.
I can only say that my admission would not have been possible without DeeDee!. So all credit goes to her continuous guidance and support throughout the application process. I would blindly recommend her if you want to pursue an MBA from the top b-schools in the world.
