Business school and the application process are intimidating. At least that is what Elizabeth thought before she began working in the Office of MBA Admissions at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. At that time, Elizabeth was overwhelmingly impressed by the drive, intelligence, and generosity of the staff, faculty, and students she came to know — so much so that she was inspired to apply, and gain acceptance to the program herself. As an Evening MBA student at Georgetown, Elizabeth was active in the Operations, Consulting, and Human Capital clubs and served as the Evening Program Liaison for Georgetown Women in Business, all the while juggling her full-time role within admissions. This dual perspective of being an Admissions Officer — recruiting, interviewing, and reviewing applications from around the world — and being an MBA student affords Elizabeth the proven ability and expertise to help others navigate the MBA application process. Elizabeth prides her herself on providing constructive, sincere feedback and finds joy in assisting clients to craft personal statements that resonate with both admission committees and prospective employers.
