Hi Mr. Energy Consultant! This is Kate Richardson, Senior Admissions Consultant, weighing in on your profile. Your goals seem reasonable and I can see why an MBA would be helpful to move from the engineering to the business/managerial side of the energy sector. With 9 years experience, you’re a bit above the average (7 years at NUS, typically lower for US programs like Stern). Lastly, although you have a strong engineering background, a strong GMAT showing is important, and it’s a bit hard to assess your chances without one. Your target schools have averages ranging from 670-720 so hopefully you can reach the higher end of that range! Best of luck!
