Hi Mr. Energy Consultant! This is Kate Richardson, Senior Admissions Consultant, weighing in on your profile. Your goals seem reasonable and I can see why an MBA would be helpful to move from the engineering to the business/managerial side of the energy sector. I find it interesting that you’ve worked for both big companies and startups. That should be an interesting perspective to share, though keep in mind that Admissions may view 4 different companies as lacking some consistency. Hopefully you can still show progression even if it’s not in the traditional way of staying with one or two firms for longer. The other area to consider deeply is why MBA / why now.
