In the application, the school seeks a resume, essay, transcripts, and two professional references.

Students begin the program with a required virtual residency. There will be optional opportunities to visit campus throughout the course of the program, but they will never be required.
Surprisingly to some, online students receive many of the same benefits as students in the school’s on-campus and executive programs, including optional global immersion trips, leadership immersion experiences, plus individualized career services and advising.
Like most schools, Penn State takes a holistic approach when reviewing candidates. Some of the elements the admissions committee wants to see is that the student has professional experience to share in a collaborative, team environment, self-awareness, excellent communication skills, and strong academics.
