In this course, students will identify traits and practice techniques that attract interest and build buy-in. Even more, students will explore team dynamics and how they impact motivation, decision-making, and collaboration.

Review: “This course has had a profound impact on how I view leadership. I understand that genuinely effective leaders pull the lever on making a decision only when they have rallied the support and gathered the perspectives of those who will be affected by the decision. If you want an introductory lesson on how to do this then I implore you take this course. You won’t regret it.” To read the full, in-depth review, click here.

Additional Note: This is the first of a seven course specialization from the University of Illinois called “Strategic Leadership and Management.” It includes courses on organizational design, business and corporate strategy, and applying leadership techniques.
