Now, I actually host food tours around Dallas in my spare time. Undergraduate School and Major: University of Central Florida; B.S Advertising and Public Relations Current Employer and Job Title: Cornershop by Uber; US Expansion and Strategy Operations Lead Why did you choose an online format like Quantic? It is important to me to be flexible with where I work. Quantic provides that flexibility in a really user-friendly format. Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Quantic’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school, and why was it so important to you? Quantic shares my ethics about the accessibility of continuous education. They’ve designed this extensive, high quality program in such a way that they’re able to offer it at a price that the degree will more than make up for the cost in the job market. It also included an exclusive way to break into that market. Quantic is highly competitive and only about 10% of students who apply to the MBA program are admitted. What advice would you give to someone who intends to apply to Quantic to increase their odds of being accepted? Don’t be afraid to highlight why you’re interesting, and what you’re interested in. Be unapologetically passionate about the things you believe in, which I believe is a trait that organically uncovers your work ethic. What achievement are you most proud of in your professional career? I’m proud of my advancement at my current company, coming from established Fortune 500 companies and pivoting to my new role as the second employee in the United States at a start-up — it’s been a huge culture shock in the best way. Since then, I’ve been able to work across nearly every team and help build processes that continuously improve the way we operate. What is your ultimate long-term professional goal and how has your MBA studies helped you make progress in this area? Ultimately I want to continue to work in roles with very diverse projects and teams that allow me to connect with and learn from teams that are not necessarily in my specialty. The MBA program is another stepping stone in the direction of becoming a more well-rounded leader with a holistic perspective of business. DON’T MISS: THE DISRUPTERS: MEET THE QUANTIC CLASS OF 2022
