What makes London such a great place to earn an MBA degree? Apart from the potential for plenty of European travel, I’m excited by the city’s diverse and thriving business ecosystem which will allow me to take my learning beyond the theoretical and see its applications in global businesses.

London Business School is one of the most culturally and professionally diverse MBA programs in the world. How do you see these global perspectives enhancing the value of your business education over the next two years? A relevant business education has to be a global one – bringing a diversity of backgrounds into the classroom will enrich everyone’s learning, including mine, by expanding the perspectives in classroom discussion and debate.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of London Business School’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The breadth and diversity of the curriculum, along with amazing opportunities such as the Global Business Experience, really make the LBS program stand out.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at London Business School? I’m incredibly excited to get involved in the Out in Business Club, to build my community of queer students at LBS and help organise events to support growing diversity in business.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Can I say getting into LBS?

What is one thing you have recently read, watched, or listened to that you would highly recommend to prospective MBAs? Why? The New Geography of Jobs by Enrico Moretti, because it’s a fascinating look at the redistribution of jobs, population, and wealth in America. Also, every single Taylor Swift song, because you deserve it.

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point and what do you hope to do after graduation? I didn’t study commerce, economics, or finance during my undergraduate degree, so I’m excited by the prospect of building my skills and understanding in these areas.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into London Business School’s MBA program? Talk to current and former students! Ask them all your ‘dumb’ questions about the degree and application process; it absolutely helps to demystify the process.
