Sungkyunkwan University’s Graduate School of Business

Founded in 2004, SKK Graduate School of Business was built on a vision of delivering a world-class MBA education right in Korea, retaining Korean MBA’s instead of losing them to top-tier business programs overseas. Sungkyunkwan University is located conveniently near the city center, and although the first GSB class graduated in 2016, the university itself has over 600 years of history.

SKK hosts small cohorts of 30-35 students on average. Their Full-Time MBA program is 18 months beginning in early August, and the completed degree is 45 credits.

At SKK GSB, they believe in shaping business leaders by teaching them to develop a broad awareness and an in-depth perspective of business problems in the context of specific companies, industry, and the global economy. The Core Courses at SKK GSB are taught over 23 weeks and consist of five modules that blend experiential learning with business fundamentals that lay the foundation for elective courses.

SKK GSB offers a large selection of elective courses, and students are encouraged to choose from four career-oriented tracks/specializations, Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Management, to personalize their degree in hone in on their interests.

During the spring semester, a main part of the MBA experience is the Applied Business Projects (ABP) where students apply concepts, methods and paradigms learned in the classroom for real clients. Students work in consulting teams to conduct complex, multidimensional consulting projects working to create solutions to problems for the client firm.

SKK GSB also offers dual degree programs and study abroad programs with partner schools are Indiana University Kelley School of Business, EDHEC Business School and Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
