I run a mentoring process, which is reflection-centered and driven in the format of executive coaching. Perhaps, that is why, a small chunk of students end up pursuing other goals, mostly entrepreneurship-related, and never apply to an MBA program! Those who do, usually end up creating a very personalized narrative and get into their top 3 choices!
I run UnivAdmitHelp and have an all-IVY team that mentors students along with me.

Honestly, all of us applicants have been there. For those who aren’t yet, this is a MUST-READ!
To begin with, I’ve had quite a diverse professional background – from an entrepreneur in industrial construction to an operator in defense & aerospace manufacturing. Adding to the mix, I come from a non-engineering academic background. Evidently, my thoughts about pivoting, perhaps promoting to an organized financial/consulting industry were completely non-linear.
After multiple sleepless nights and thorough research, I found this gem – Mr. Abhishek Singhal. Right from helping me inform my decision about an MBA from the US, to choosing the right school, and later scholarships – Abhishek has been sincere. His informative process, data-driven analysis as well as insights not only prepared me for the dreaded application process but also for the MBA program that I will be pursuing.
I’m proud to call him my mentor, my consultant (call it what you may!), but above all – he’s a true friend. And of course, his reflection-centered process is not for the faint-hearted; he asked all the right questions and made me think thrice, but all the while directed me toward my dream school. His upfront and unbiased feedback proved to be invaluable amidst the chaos. At present, I have multiple admits from schools that I applied to, couldn’t be more satisfied.
Please go ahead and reach out to Abhishek, speak with him before it’s too late. He’s really the best out there! Also, fellas, he’s an alumnus of MIT Sloan himself; just like the school – he too is quite sought after.
Like most of us, I was caught up in a cycle of self-doubt about my choices for pursuing my master’s. After having interacted with many other consultants, I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for. A friend of mine recommended Abhishek and I decided to meet him. Going ahead with Abhishek’s mentoring process was one of the best decisions I’ve made. He is not just a great admissions consultant but also a really great mentor. His experience and expertise in this process are not just focused on getting an admit to your dream school but also focused on a mentorship process that helps in re-discovering your entire journey and putting all pieces together. I am joining a top b-school next fall and none of it had been possible without Abhishek. I would highly recommend it as I was able to derive more value than I initially expected and I ended up enjoying the entire process instead of worrying about what would happen.
Abhishek is Yoda and Dumbledore rolled into one. His ability to stay calm and impart that calm to me was the key to executing the application process seamlessly. That said, what made the experience truly transformative was the way he guided me to discover the rationale behind my choices and weave them into an impactful story.
I submitted most of my applications in the second round and for every 5, I was invited to interview for 4 schools. When it came to interview prep, while Abhishek encouraged me to be spontaneous and not overthink it, he also gave me insightful feedback on where I could do better.
Abhishek is an honest, calm, and insightful mentor who can bring the best out of the person he works with and I absolutely recommend him to anyone who’s looking to apply to b-school.
I’ve come to respect him not only as a great admissions consultant but also as an amazing person. He helped me move out of my comfort zone and realize my potential which was reflected in my school choices, essays, and interview answers. His process of documenting your past experiences to create a story was so effective in providing clarity that I would go from the first word to the final completed application in a day no matter how unique the questions were. Another thing I absolutely loved in the process is that he told me not to look at the competition online or any templates. He encouraged me to be myself which again shows that he is a master at simplifying processes that are often projected as overly complicated by others. Most of all, I loved that he is patient, polite, and has a lightness in his approach to issues. I faced problems getting a LOR from my firm and almost gave up on the process of applying. He went above and beyond to help me calm down and figure things out and didn’t let me give up. He is also a pretty funny guy, so you’ll always have fun talking to him!
I got to know about Abhishek through a colleague. My first interaction with him assured me that I was in good hands.
Abhishek’s initial approach was well structured. He constantly pushed me to introspect about what I really wanted out of my MBA. This helped me to drill down my goals. Further, he constantly engaged with me to understand how my experiences influenced my professional and personal journey. Through this reiterative process, he and I were able to develop a compelling story.
While writing the essays, he pushed me to use my novel writing style while providing advice on how to make the end product align with my target schools.
With interviews, Abhishek focused on how important it was to have a conversation with the interviewer. We had a lot of mock
interviews to achieve the same.
I got into one of the best business schools in the United States. Abhishek is not your usual consultant, he is a mentor, someone who is always invested in your success personally and professionally.
The best thing I like about him is that he prefers face-to-face interaction, and work as a team with his clients. I approached Abhishek in February 2021, and within a span of a couple of months, I got a few offers.
He is a great storyteller and works his best to bring out the best of both personal and professional experiences of students. There were certain areas where I was lacking professionally, and he guided me on how to improve my profile before round 1. Without his help, I would not have made it.
Abhishek’s guidance and ability to summarise helped me realize my goal. He put my story in a very simple but effective way and guided me through my insecurities as well as confusion I had during the entire process. The most important contribution I would say was to boost my self-belief and aim for the best. All thanks to him, I made it through the London Business School Sloan program.
I worked with Abhishek to apply for and seek MBA admissions for the class of 2022 and got admitted to B schools in the USA and Canada. I would just like to share three pointers that make him a great choice for anyone.
1. He could weave a compelling and logical story out of my wavered professional career (I am an engineer who worked in sales for two sales and then switched to being a copywriter) and that made all the difference in my applications. 2. You always have his full attention and can be rest assured that he would come up with a personalized response rather than copy-pasting templates. His one-on-one sessions help the applicant uncover some hidden facets of their journey. 3. He strikes the perfect balance between guiding you, while still leaving enough room for your personality and traits to shine through.
