Consultant Bio

I have been coaching and mentoring students in their admissions and career journeys for the past ten years.
Combining my training as a counselor and experience as an MBA, I guide my clients through the self-reflection necessary to craft a strong application. I believe that while the application process can feel stressful, with the right strategy it can be an exciting opportunity to recognize one’s accomplishments and set big goals for the future.

As an MBA applicant later in my career, I understand how the MBA experience is truly transformational and use my perspective to help applicants envision what their own MBA paths could look like inside and outside of the classroom. Having worked in the private, non-profit, and public sectors, I am adept at identifying the skills that will differentiate my clients from other applicants.

At Fuqua, I learned how to apply business thinking to social sector problems, completing my summer internship at the Gates Foundation, transitioning to a career in management consulting for
higher education institutions, and then serving as a Director at a national nonprofit.

I have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ed.M. in Psychological Counseling from Teacher’s College Columbia University, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

For this reason, we don’t have a sales team – every person you speak with at our firm is either a graduate of a top MBA program or a former admissions director. And since we offer only a limited number of client spots, we are selective in choosing clients to work with only when we believe that we can add value to their applications.
