The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, comprises three world-class business schools.
Delivering a purposeful, integrated business education, Johnson offers one- and two-year cutting-edge and highly regarded residential MBA programs across two campuses — on its home campus in Ithaca in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of upstate NY and in New York City.
The two-year program suits career-changers, while the one-year Johnson Cornell Tech MBA is for those wanting to turbo-boost their careers in technology and the digital economy or create their own business. Across all programs, Johnson’s curriculum blends intensive coursework with real-world experience, including a semester-long immersion integrating course and fieldwork in a specific industry or career interest, as well as a mandatory internship for two-year students.
Johnson education provides a solid foundation in all key business functions, including marketing, finance, human resources, and production – with a focus on strong analytical and decision-making skills. With 120 electives shared across MBA classes, students can pursue their own interests, follow their curiosity, and choose their own paths for second-year electives. Johnson also offers MBAs as part of dual degrees with law, public administration, and industrial and labor relations.
