After receiving my doctorate of pharmacy while working as an intern for Walmart’s corporate office, I started as a pharmacy manager and was promoted twice in two years to become a Market Director over pharmacy and optical for Walmart. I like that you have a clear goal for wanting to get your MBA and make a transition. That said, your GMAT score and low GPA could be a concern for Columbia, where the average GMAT hovers around 720. Have you looked into the GRE? It’s accepted by most programs. The study material is similar, but some applicants find the GRE test format more suited to their test-taking style.
