The University of California-Davis Graduate School of Management is on a mission to teach their students theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to all organizations, and to prepare the next generation of inspired, driven, and innovative leaders.
The MBA@UCDavis program welcomed a total of 397 students to the program. All-in-all, the program takes approximately 24–36 months to complete.
Just like their full-time and part-time MBA, UC-Davis’ online MBA is completed in 72 units, and has the same admission standards as their part-time programs and most of the same faculty teach the program.
Online MBA students are also invited to participate in all on campus academic activities at the GSM, like the Industry Immersion courses where senior executives share the latest developments in their fields. They can also partake in the International Study Trips where OMBAs study business practices and global commerce prior to spending a week in the subject country, attending site visits to witness first-hand management practices in foreign environments.
Online students also complete domestic and international corporate projects, attend in-person residentials developed around topics of interest to the students (like technology, food, biotechnology), and participate in workshops and talks. Some activities are required while others are optional.

“What I have enjoyed most about the Online MBA Program is that it does not feel like I am online. My classmates and I socialize and perform projects as if we met in person. The professors have been extremely accessible and the Async and Live Classes blend very well. I had never worked from home or utilized Zoom to this capacity for meetings. For me the fear was will I be able to learn and participate online. With early help from classmates and the Online Platform, it was a very short ramp up period to adjust. The learning and education aspect of all the courses has been outstanding. This was one of the best decisions I have made. I am extremely grateful to be a part of the UC-Davis Online MBA Program. It has made me a better professional and helped me become friends with some wonderful people,” says OMBA Jesse Pataria.
