University of Hawai’i’s Shidler College of Business

The University of Hawai’i’ at Manoa offers an MBA program out of the Shidler College of Business that provides students with a comprehensive foundation in business fundamentals with an Asia-Pacific focus. The B-school is proud to have a diverse, multiethnic heritage. The campus is home to students, faculty, and staff from more than 140 countries and regions around the world.

The University calls Honolulu home, a city celebrated for more than just its stunning beaches and cultural diversity—it’s a hub for businesses across various industries, including tourism, military defense, healthcare, education, and technology.

The program consists of 48 total credit hours – 27 are required core courses and 21 are electives. The B-School recognizes that students have varying availability, so they offer several formats for their MBA – either a 21-month, 24-month, or 36-month option.

They offer the choice of a China or Japan focus where they will learn the language and get the chance to study abroad.

Outside of the required curriculum, students can take part in the school’s many internships offered, annual Business Plan Competition, field study opportunity, workshops and bootcamps out of the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship.
