The Master of International Business program is designed to train current and future managers in all aspects of global business. The evening class schedule accommodates working professionals so they can earn an advanced degree while keeping their lives in motion. Every course prepares current and aspiring managers who want to branch out into the international aspects of their company, including navigating the legal landscape of global business, understanding business in emerging markets, strategizing and negotiating in worldwide markets and analyzing global business problems in marketing, currency and accounting. Students interact with guest speakers from companies such as UPS, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and The Coca-Cola Company. Students also visit sites such as the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport freight and cargo terminal and the Port of Savannah, one of the fastest-growing sea ports in the United States.
Through a field study, students work closely with executives from a variety of companies around the world who want to go global or expand their global presence. Past projects have included foreign country and industry studies, potential market assessments, export channels identification and entry mode selection. Cohorts comprise diverse, cross-cultural students who come from a range of professional, educational and linguistic backgrounds.
One year; 3 semesters; cohort format. The rigorous 10-course curriculum provides graduates with in-depth knowledge of international business practice.
