What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? Atlanta has grown on me during the four years of undergrad and is somewhere I have always wanted to come back to. The diverse neighborhoods, the southern hospitality, the hub for countless business leaders to gather and change the world, and the excitement of the unknown make Atlanta the perfect place to boost my career while having some fun.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The biggest differentiator is one of Goizueta’s core values – diversity – which is exemplified in both the academic program and the community. Through the Global Experiential Modules, students will have the opportunity to visit companies and meet leaders from foreign countries. Building a global perspective outside the classroom is truly luxurious. Emory also does an incredible job attracting students with diverse talents and deliberately forms small-size cohorts to nurture close-knit relationships from Day 1.

What course, club, or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? It would be Graduate Women in Business. Though we are seeing improved representation of women in the business world today, gender disparity still exists, particularly in early promotions. I am excited to join like-minded peers who are also passionate about fostering a psychologically safe environment for the personal and professional development of future female leaders. I also look forward to joining the Goizueta Consulting Association to expand my toolkit as I hope to break into the consulting industry.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? Compassion serves as my life’s guiding principle and enables me to support my peers in tough times. I have witnessed the power of compassion through my life journey as it reduces anxiety, makes people more resilient to stress, and promotes interpersonal bonds. It is contagious and the ripple effect is ten-fold. I believe showing and receiving compassion from one another will boost the morale of the Class of 2026.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I once developed a flu prevention framework and compiled medical resource disparity insights, which secured a government redistribution of critical resources in the most hard-hit province and reduced child mortality rates by 50% in one month.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience successful? Making genuine connections and building long-lasting relationships define my success. I also aim to leave my MBA with a thorough understanding of who I am and to unlock my full potential.
