Hi Mr. Wealth Manager to Fintech, this is Julie-Anne Heafey from mbaMission. Gosh, sorry to hear about your waitlist at Kenan-Flagler, and your status there makes me wonder about your Ross chances, because it’s been pretty challenging in R2. You seem like a good candidate with a positive mission in life…and I like your active leadership with the United Way and other organizations in St. Louis. I think it could be tough this year to get off the waitlist, however, unfortunately…it’s a very challenging year, and your goals seem rather murky….I can’t quite understand how your tax and wealth management expertise translates to the strategic partnerships in Fintech to drive inclusivity and access. Fintech is so broad – what kind of company would you be doing this for, and what kind of partnerships do you envision? It’s possible your application explained more, but I’m a little confused about what exactly you’d be doing. You’re in a super competitive category (males in financial services), so excellent execution on all fronts is important, especially without a high GMAT to help you out. I’ll cross fingers for you, and recommend that your waitlist updates include greater goal clarity, work achievements with professional impact, and strong UNC networking…perhaps you can get an additional rec sent as well? Follow their guidance. Good luck!
