I reached out to Emma after being waitlisted for LBS and immediately realized I had made the right decision (and regretted not having used her earlier). I sent her my completed application and over the weekend she thoroughly went over it making notes and suggestions on areas I could expand upon and address in my follow up interview with the waitlist manager. She also made great suggestions on additional steps I could take to show and demonstrate my excitement for the LBS program. Emma went above and beyond by mock interviewing me and left me feeling confident as I went into my follow up interview. During my follow up interview with LBS we touched upon each of the points Emma and I had discussed and I received my admission just two weeks later. There is no doubt in my mind that it was in large part due to Emma’s guidance and knowledge of the LBS program.
Her response time was also fantastic, often within hours, despite an 11 hour time difference.
I worked with and talked to multiple consultants and Emma stood out clearly as the best. I highly recommend!
Cassandra went above and beyond to help me get into my dream B-school! With a non-traditional background, below-average GMAT and a very tight timeline (less than one month before the application deadline), Cassandra offered an invaluable source of knowledge, helping me to craft a compelling narrative and providing a huge amount of support from my initial application and interview to finally making it off the waitlist.
Cassandra’s guidance was crucial in making sure I had a competitive application that played to my strengths, while her compassionate, encouraging and extremely responsive approach is something I will always be grateful for. I can’t recommend Cassandra enough!
My wife used Heidi during her MBA application process and got into HBS and Lauder. Having seen her up close through my wife’s experience, Heidi was a no-brainer for me when it came time for me to apply as well. She was patient with me through the process, providing the strategic review I needed early on about the pros and risks of my profile for my target MBA programs. This helped me to prioritize and tailor my key messages to my schools. When I was receiving conflicting messages in the late stages of finalizing my essay, she made time on short notice to speak through the options and coached me to make the decision that was right for me – I deeply appreciated that her style isn’t to tell you what she thinks is best but to coach you to find your voice. She was also invaluable in my mock interview prep sessions, providing focused and tactical feedback on how I needed to approach them. I was accepted to HBS and am grateful to Heidi for her support through the process.
Silpa was absolutely critical to my b-school application success. As someone with a limited understanding of the application process and who began preparing to apply quite late in the application round, I didn’t really know where to begin. Silpa was great at helping me navigate the application process and getting me to look inward for the kind of deeply personal essays that schools were looking for. Silpa’s help with interview preparation was also excellent, which is supported by the fact that I was admitted to every school that invited me to interview.
Because I was preparing to apply late, when I started working with Silpa I had not finalized my school list. Silpa suggested applying to a top program that I had thought I wouldn’t have time for. However, with her help, I was able to efficiently prepare an application and eventually get admission. Overall with Silpa’s help, I was admitted into two of the best MBA programs in the country (the U.S.).
Heidi is fabulous and I highly endorse/recommend her!
I applied to three top 5 schools and was accepted into one and waitlisted at another. Heidi was instrumental in helping me achieve these results: she really helped me go deeper and show my best version. Although I knew how I wanted to position my application and why I wanted to study for an MBA, she was a great soundboard to discuss alternatives, making my application much stronger. She’s a great thought partner with excellent knowledge of what schools are looking for.
Beyond being an amazing professional, she’s an excellent person – kind, open, and easy to talk to. All in all, I highly recommend anyone considering applying to business school to work with Heidi.
Nicola was my consultant on an hourly basis, with services for the review of my draft essays, and review of my application in addition to interview prep.
Nicola is responsive and comprehensive throughout the process and I thoroughly recommend her for your MBA application. We were on a short timeline but she managed to provide immense value during the short time we worked together. In addition to essay review, she helped me to probe deeper into my motivations for business school and helped to flesh it out in the essays.
I came into my MBA application prep with a skeptical mindset about using an admissions consultant given the costs and reviews online. I am glad to be proven wrong, beginning with the initial call with Matt Symonds, who gave a very compelling value proposition. Nicola then exceeded my expectations on the value of an admissions consultant.
I would give Nicola and the Fortuna team two thumbs-up for the services rendered.
I worked with Karen on my MBA applications last year. I find her advice is super helpful especially for perfecting essays and preparing for interviews. Karen is also very knowledgeable about business schools outside of the USA.
During the application process, I had to postpone/adjust the application timeline a few times due to personal reasons, and Karen was always okay to work with my new dates.
Karen was super helpful with preparing the essays. She always gave me candid feedback. If the direction I was going in does not seem to demonstrate my biggest advantages, she would tell me straight away. She also reviewed my essays a few rounds in order to perfect the details, which definitely improved the quality of my essays significantly. In terms of interview preparation, it was easier than essays in my experience. We did some mock interview questions together, and she gave me a lot of helpful tips. Karen also answered my questions on the style of delivery and reassured me my style of delivery was good.
Overall I had a wonderful experience with Karen. Her advice is spot on. As a consultant, she’s easy to work with, and her responses are super fast. In the end, I obtained multiple offers from different business schools, some with scholarships. I don’t think I could have managed to have the same results without the help from Karen. I highly recommend her to other MBA applicants.
I cannot express enough how fortunate I was to consult with Sharon as I navigated the MBA application process. Sharon has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to leverage, and her insights were always incredibly helpful whether it was regarding my essays, letters of rec, or resume. In addition, Sharon was wonderful in terms of flexibility and ability to help me build out a plan of attack for my applications. Further, Sharon really took her time in getting to know me and my goals so that she could help craft the best application and what school would be the right fit for me. By the end of the whole process, I got into both of my target schools (Anderson and Haas)! I truly don’t know how I could have gotten through everything without her. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants help with any part of their MBA application!
I had a great experience with Fortuna Admissions, especially with Melissa Jones. I had applied to schools a year earlier and did not get in anywhere. I was struggling to find the best way to present myself in my essays, which parts of my experiences to include, which to leave out, etc. I decided to try again and do it with some help. In the very early stages of my work with Melissa, she sat down with me and took the time to hear my life story and talk about my goals so that she could help me “sell” myself better and build a more compelling narrative for the admissions committees. She also reviewed my previous applications to get a sense of why it hadn’t worked out for me the first time around. We then built a step-by-step roadmap with deadlines for all the tasks I had to do and strategized on how to best accomplish these tasks. She was always available and ready to provide feedback at every step of the way. She was flexible as some of my goals shifted and always pushed me to improve every facet of my applications while giving me invaluable insights on how to actually improve. Additionally, she helped me access and navigate all of Fortuna’s resources, which included resume building specialists, school-specific specialists, customized guides on the details of every school I was interested in and their admission process and material on how to select and brief recommenders. Overall, I believe hiring Melissa was a game-changer for me. She helped me build a compelling narrative that highlighted my experiences and my strengths in a way that I would not have been able to on my own. She also gave me the feedback I needed to strengthen my weaknesses. She encouraged me at every turn for what ended up being a very lengthy process, and in the end, I got into my dream school. For anyone struggling to see how they can stand out and looking to elevate their application, I would absolutely recommend Melissa Jones and Fortuna Admissions. They will increase your chances of achieving your goals.
Back in 2021, when I started applying (for the second time) to b-schools, I was very certain that I wanted to work with someone who was high on EQ and would understand my profile and goals. Emma was a wonderful consultant and someone I could reach out to whenever I needed some structure and calm – be it while working on essays, prepping for interviews, or waiting for the schools to release their results.
I worked with Emma for 2 top b-schools (one in the EU and one in the UK) and got into the school of my choice. She ensured my goals were crystal clear, helped me edit my CV & essays, and did not hesitate while pointing out ambiguities. Talking to her (on Zoom or via email) always calmed me down and her strategies to navigate the admissions process made me even more confident in my candidacy. What more do you need?
I am so grateful to Emma and I cannot stress enough on how wonderful it was to go through this journey with her!
Karen has been incredibly helpful during my application process for business schools. We spent multiple months working together on my essays which allowed me to submit a strong and personal application. Karen always knew which details to add to make a difference and what the admission committee was looking for in an answer. She also prepared me for the interview process with a mock interview. Overall I was able to be admitted to my top 3 schools thanks to her great and personalized support. In addition, Karen was always available to answer my questions, she is very kind and understanding. I strongly recommend her as a support when applying to business schools!
Emma takes a very structured approach to a b-school application process. She spends a lot of time initially to understand you personally before diving into the application. My essays, and other application questions, went through a number of iterations before we were both satisfied with them. The final drafts are always so much better than the initial ones. Emma knows how to get the best out of you and suggests ways through which you can make your application stand out. She even helped me connect with her past students to get more insights on my target schools. I can confidently say that had it not been for Emma, I would have not been able to get an admit into my target school.
One of the most important aspects of the process is the level of comfort you can have with your counselor – in extremely critical situations of the applications, I always got off a call with Emma feeling very relaxed with clarity on the next steps. Emma is someone who would go that extra mile to help you – be it the application, interviews, or scholarships. She is easily approachable, very quick to turn around with her reviews, and would often even take out time on weekends/public holidays if required.
Working with Emma has been a partnership in a process that can get very challenging at times. It is extremely critical to work with someone who is there for you throughout this 6-7 months long process and constantly helps you move forward in the right direction. Emma was not my coach, but a partner in this journey, and the admit was not just mine, it was ours!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Emma to anyone looking to get into top 10 business schools.
I cannot say enough good things about Sharon and the Fortuna team. She has an awesome wealth of knowledge about the process and did a fantastic job articulating what each school individually was looking for at every step of my applications. What really stood out to me about Sharon is the time and effort she dedicated to getting to know me on a personal level, which made the whole process feel really personalized and genuine to me and my goals, values, and strengths. She (and the whole Fortuna team) went above and beyond – whether it was bringing in different experts from Fortuna to give me feedback or spending 2.5 hours on a Friday night to talk through an essay, she really pushed me to put out the best, most creative applications I could. I ended up with multiple scholarship offers from T15 schools – I cannot recommend Sharon and Fortuna enough!
After unsuccessfully navigating the business school application process once on my own, I decided to use Fortuna for my second attempt. Silpa is truly a gem and was able to help me translate my story and non-traditional background into a scholarship-winning application. I was consistently impressed with how much time she took during each phase of Fortuna’s process to ensure that my application was truly reflective of who I am as a person. She has a keen attention to detail and wove together elements I had initially viewed as unimportant in a way that showed incredible impact. I absolutely would not have been admitted, let alone with significant scholarship, without her!
I did not believe I had any chance of getting into an M7 whatsoever. Coming from a non-traditional background, getting an MBA wasn’t even part of my future planning until I was referred to Karla. She made me realize the value in the work that I had done, far more so than I was able to see myself and was detailed and thorough in her navigation of the admissions process. She knows the ins and outs of each school’s process, mission, values, and priorities to a degree that surpasses any other resource I’ve been able to see. Not only does she intimately understand the MBA application process, but she is also deeply compassionate and committed to the goal of elevating her clients to do good in the world. Working with Karla is so much more than a simple transaction – it is a truly cathartic experience that opens your eyes to what you can achieve, and how you can improve the world through your capabilities. She truly has the talent to bring out the best in people and ensure that the MBA admissions committees can see it too.
I chose to work with Julie based on her reputation as an essay guru, and I was not disappointed!
I have a non-traditional career background as well as some more unique extracurriculars, so I knew that the essay was a crucial aspect of my application and where my background could really shine. Julie helped me define my “story,” find the different threads throughout my background and weave them together into a compelling essay. She helped guide me in the right direction and make sure that my essays were tailored to each program, and her deep knowledge about Chicago Booth allowed me to submit my strongest essay for my top program. If you’re looking for a consultant to really help take your essays to the next level, I highly recommend working with Julie.
I worked with Julia on an hourly basis, focusing on my applications for two of the four schools I applied to in Round 2. She was instrumental in helping me reflect on my experiences and accomplishments, craft my story, and explain why an MBA and why these schools would help me reach my goals in a concise and compelling way. From initial brainstorming conversations, a thorough resume review, and partnership throughout the essay-writing process, Julia allowed me to take my applications to another level and feel confident I was putting my best foot forward. I was able to apply Julia’s guidance to my applications for the other two schools as well and reach a great outcome in the end — interview invitations to all four schools and acceptance to Tuck and Darden. Julia is a fantastic partner to have in the application process and I highly recommend working with her!
I cannot recommend Jennifer enough. I reached out to her pretty late in my application process, but she was ready to dive in immediately! Her intimate understanding of the Wharton/Lauder process really allowed me to fine-tune my personal story to stand out better in the applicant pool. Jennifer’s ability to dig in and ask hard questions of her clients really pays off on the essays, and her support and guidance made the application process super smooth and rewarding for me!
I started working with Catherine later in the admissions process than I would recommend (a few weeks before R1 deadline). I reached out to Fortuna and was then connected to Catherine after my consultation call.
I was initially attracted to Catherine’s profile because she was previously at Fuqua (my top choice) and her profile highlighted her ability to stay calm/cool/collected – which I thought I would need being that the timeline I was working with was tight.
Catherine worked with me on the majority of my application: LORs, essays, advice (i.e. – talking with students, attending events, asking questions), and resume (minor tweaking). I utilized the 2 school package and had her help with my 2 hardest schools and then did hourly for my target and backup schools. As a result of her collaboration and insight, I was admitted into 1 reach and my backup and waitlisted to 1 reach and 1 target.
Catherine was always available and we talked on the phone for 30 minutes on a weekly basis and frequently via email regarding the status of my application (LOR, essays, etc.). Without her help, I don’t think I would have been able to clearly articulate my story, ST/LT goals, etc.
I was very fortunate to have chosen the Fortuna team for my MBA application. Emma Bond made my application journey absolutely pain-free. Not only did she guide me through the lengthy process but also provide me with a very useful methodology to present myself in business situations in general. More importantly, she filled me with confidence which is absolutely vital in this kind of application. With her help, I have been admitted to a global top-ranking MBA program.
I will recommend Emma and the Fortuna team to anyone who aims at the highest and wants to work with top professionals.
Emma was absolutely amazing! She made sure to listen fully to what I was intending before she provided solid advice. From school selection to tips on the essay/interview, to even supportive words of encouragement. I definitely would not have gotten into my school without Emma’s help and I am forever grateful to her. She was able to help me get into multiple schools across both the US and UK. I was so lucky to have been placed in her capable hands. She is someone that is so responsive, and will always try to do her best to make time for you. Her feedback was always candid which I appreciated and also helped me to improve in all aspects of my application. Again, I could not have asked for better. Emma and Fortuna are the way to go
The prospect of applying to business school was not only daunting but also incredibly intimidating. Karla elevated my app to a level that I know I was not capable of bringing it to on my own. She made me feel completely supported throughout the entire process and helped me get a result I initially didn’t think was realistic (Wharton $$$). I highly recommend her to anyone considering applying to business school.
Karla is seriously amazing. I was really nervous going into the process about high-volume consultants but Karla was not at all like a few of my friend’s experiences. She was super responsive and probably worked on my application/story more than I did. Her network is amazing and everyone she put me in contact with gave her glowing reviews as well. There is really no other choice honestly, go with Karla!
As an engineer by trade, I had very little insight into the MBA admissions process so I was very fortunate to have found Karla through Fortuna Admissions. She not only had deep insight and knowledge of admissions and the different school’s expectations but she always went above and beyond to make sure that every inch of my authentic self was demonstrated in my applications. Initially, I never considered applying to HBS let alone being admitted! Building a strong application is no easy feat and I truly believe that Karla’s influence, drive, and support were the key factors for me to be admitted to HBS. I am truly thankful to have worked with her because she genuinely cares for her client’s success! I fully recommend her if you want to put your best foot forward in the application process.
I am glad to have found Julia in my application process very early on. The initial part of introspection to get to your origin story can be daunting but Julia made it seem much easier. She heard all my stories and helped me to decide which ones to include in my essays. I’m extremely grateful to her for the n number of iterations we had to go through to get our final story out.
I engaged with Emma less than four weeks from my R2 Application deadlines, and one conversation later, I realized I had hit the jackpot, and got a mentor for life! Emma Bond turned out to be my savior at the 11th hour, highlighting key points in my backstory I had never even thought of. While her suggestions for my CV, essay questions and interview prep were thorough and meticulous, her polite criticism every step of the way turned out to be a real game-changer. She literally breathed life and clarity into my applications, with unbelievably quick response times (often within hours in spite of the time difference), and gave me the much needed confidence and direction in applying to the B-Schools of my dreams! Her constant endeavor to fine-tune all aspects of my applications while retaining my authentic voice is truly praiseworthy.
I ended up getting a full-ride admit to the London Business School, an incredibly rare feat and honestly something I did not even expect. This would have been impossible without her relentless support, genuine advice, her prompt responses to my most trivial doubts, and her complete confidence in my potential. With Emma Bond backing you, you know you are going only to the best of places in the world – she has my 100% recommendation!
I reached out to Fortuna Admissions after I got rejected by an MBA school. I chose Fortuna after researching many admission consultants. Fortuna is a unique team of MBA admission directors who provide you with first-hand insider info. My experience with Fortuna has been flawless. They are very efficient, informative, and professional. Even before my 30 minutes free consultation, the sales consultant (Jenifer) was very efficient and asked me to fill out a short questionnaire so she could prepare for the consultation efficiently. Jenifer was also very kind, smart, and truly understood what I needed.
Now I want to talk about Emma. It’s a pity that I can only give her 5 stars, she deserves 100 stars truly! Before I chose which admission consultant I wanted to work with, I didn’t only consider experience and choice of school expertise (Emma is LBS and some European schools expert) but I also wanted to make sure that the consultant was passionate, informative, and truly cared about my admissions journey. I chose Emma after a fit call with her and reviewing her YouTube video on the Fortuna channel. I’m so glad that I chose her! A lot of reviews mentioned choosing Emma if you want to go to LBS, but I got admitted to M7 school with Emma’s help! Fortuna Admissions shares the school insider info internally, so you don’t necessarily need to choose the consultant based on their school expertise, but also on their personal qualities. Emma is very, very, very informative, detailed, highly strategic, empathetic and truly cares about you. She made sure everything was done correctly from the start, including how I communicated with the admission team. She was able to formulate my story and my unique selling points so that my application was flawless. She advised on everything, from my cv, essay, recommendation letter, interview, and email communication. Everything! All this was done efficiently. you should also know that she’s not just a coach, she’s at the director level, all her guidance is strategic which set her apart from other coaches. When Emma had to take a few days leave due to illness, she told me to email her if anything happened during that period and she still replied to my emails just like usual. Have I mentioned that she replies to emails in a flash? I sometimes wonder if she sleeps at all!
I can honestly tell you that I would not make it to this MBA school without Emma’s help. You should also know that Emma’s satisfaction rate is 10/10 and she is one of the most experienced admission consultants out there. I can say with utmost confidence that you won’t regret working with Emma. She is the best admission consultant out there.
I made a good decision to work with Sharon to apply to 6 universities (Admitted on 4/6). She cared so much about my applications and she set a good rhythm and weekly meetings to ensure that we are on track. I recommend her to work with especially if you plan to apply to Wharton, Sloan, and Hass where she has shown strong experience in those schools’ applications. Also, she is a wonderful person that turns zoom calls into friendly and enjoyable conversations.
Without the help of Fortuna Admissions, I would not have gotten into my top choice school, CBS. I came to Fortuna through a referral and Judith was quick to hop on a call with me to understand my background and needs. I spent 2018-2022 singing opera but realized I wanted to transition my career into business in 2020. I was interested in management consulting and she suggested I speak with a former client who had also sung opera before transitioning into management consulting with BCG. After speaking with him I felt confident that I could apply despite my nontraditional background. Judith arranged a few meet and greets with potential admissions consultants, and after a few minutes on zoom with Catherine Tuttle, I knew she was the one for me. She proceeded to guide me through the whole process. We started with networking and school webinars. I shared my life story, reflecting on my interests, strengths, and weaknesses, which later became the basis of my essays. Before I knew it we had crafted a whole set of essays and a credible story for admissions committees. She also listened to me whine constantly for the first month about the GMAT. She was also extremely empathetic while I dealt with my imposter syndrome, but encouraged me to believe I could get into a great school. She was organized, efficient, knowledgeable, a terrific writer/editor, and just plain fun to talk to. She was happy to jump on a call at any time, though we had a regular zoom time each week to pow wow and organize. After I got over my initial giggles at our mock interviews, her prep allowed me to be calm and collected in all my interviews. I was also waitlisted to my top school and 2 others, and her advice sealed the deal for my admission as I navigated the waitlist. I absolutely could not have done it without Catherine.
After conducting thorough due diligence of +10 admission consulting firms (basically, I had a 30-min call with those +10 admission consulting firms), I decided to work with Fortuna for two reasons.
Firstly, Fortuna has a lot of experience in this industry. Secondly, contrary to other consulting firms, Fortuna was really trying to understand my need from the initial call vs. other consulting firms were trying to sell me their packages/offers during the first call… I disliked this second approach. My initial call was with Jenifer!
Jenifer was not my direct coach but provided me with her ideas and recommendations during the middle at the end of my admission preparation. It was certainly valuable to benefit from her experience.
I will be joining Stanford GSB next September 2022. I am so happy!
Thanks, Jenifer!
After conducting thorough due diligence of +10 admission consulting firms (basically, I had a 30-min call with those +10 admission consulting firms), I decided to work with Fortuna for two reasons. First, Fortuna has a lot of experience in this industry and, contrary to other consulting firms, Fortuna was really trying to understand my need from the initial call vs. other consulting firms were trying to sell me their packages/offers during the first call… I disliked this second approach. Second, I was pleased to work with Heidi because I saw on P&Q that she was among the top consultants with a perfect score (10/10).
During the last 7 months, Heidi has helped me to prepare my applications for round 2. Now, I totally understand why she got a perfect score from her customers. Heidi is very knowledgeable about the top MBA programs (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, etc.). She was of great help at each step of the application process!
What impressed me the most with Heidi was her responsiveness. She was able to get back to me in less than 24 hours! In such a stressful process, it is great to have a coach like Heidi who can get back to you in such a short timeframe.
Also, something I really liked about Heidi is that she always provided me with insights in a subtle way. It was never “I think you must do like this or like that” but it was “I believe X or Y… let’s discuss it and you can decide what you prefer”. I really liked this approach.
Finally, Heidi has been totally honest with me regarding the strengths and also weaknesses of my profile. She never tried to make things look more or less beautiful. She was very transparent and pragmatic.
Thanks, Heidi!
Karla was an amazing consultant! I truly believe that she did everything she possibly could to put me in the best position to be competitive at all of my target schools.
Like many others, I interviewed many consultants/firms and knew that Karla was the correct fit immediately. Karla went above and beyond – she put in the extra hours and effort (even beyond the hours, terms, etc. that are in the formal agreement). I believe that she is truly differentiated from other consultants because of her passion for her job and her true interest in getting to know you. She was able to answer any type of question about all of my schools – very informed! She was a great coach as well. As an applicant from a background that is not so differentiated and in a saturated pool (white, male, finance), I was a bit reluctant to give myself much of a chance at the top schools. Karla instilled confidence in me and helped me to stand out amongst similar applicants. Without her, there is no way I would have received a full-tuition scholarship. She is very positive and always willing to help. I would recommend her to anyone and have already recommended her to a few friends.
I highly recommend you chose Karla as your consultant.
I had a great time working with Melissa for the past few months as we navigated the business school application process. I was really worried at first because my GPA was much lower than the school averages, and I knew my GMAT score was not going to be high (I’m a horrible test taker). Melissa stayed calm the whole time and really helped me highlight my strengths in the essays and through the rest of the application. She stayed very calm and was extremely supportive. I appreciate her immense knowledge of the process, guidance and support, and clear communication.
Melissa’s extremely knowledgeable about the process and can help you fight for your best chance! I highly recommend her. I had a much lower GPA and test score, and got into my first top choice schools. I honestly don’t think I would’ve been able to do this without her.
Sharon Joyce is an excellent coach. I believe I would not have even had the number of interviews I received if not for her guidance, let alone acceptance at CMU Tepper and Alliance Manchester Business School. She listens very well and provides informed and accurate advice. What impressed me the most was that she took the time to get to know me as a person and incorporate that information into her guidance during essay writing and interview prep. Sharon did what I’d expect most coaches to do: – review my essays, LinkedIn profile, and resume – set a clear timeline for each step in the process – help with interview preparations BUT it was the extra steps that she took that make her such a good coach.
She not only helped by providing guidance about how to leverage my experiences to create a unique and intriguing story for the applications, but she also pushed me to reevaluate myself and my experiences in order to get down to the “who”, “what”, and “why”. Helping me to understand my own motivations for applying to an MBA program in the first place not only helped me craft better essays and interview responses but motivated me to truly apply myself to the application process.
Overall, Sharon was supportive, positive, and someone I enjoyed working with. She has all the knowledge and experience of the MBA admissions process to help an applicant be successful, AND the ability to translate that knowledge to the applicant in such a way as to allow them to best showcase themselves to the schools they are applying to.
I worked with Jenifer on two schools, and she was patient and made herself accessible throughout the whole process. The application process can be extremely stressful at times and it was a game-changer having Jenifer to guide me throughout it. She provided me with a lot of great advice and insight that was helpful to the other schools that I applied to as well.
At the end of the day, I believe that with her help – I was able to put forth an application that I was extremely happy with.
I had an awesome experience with Bill. He was incredibly supportive and always there for me when I needed him most during this application journey! There were many times when his words of encouragement helped give me the confidence to go forward.
He has a very wise perspective from his experience at Booth and can give you advice that will really suit your needs. I trust him 100%
By the time I finished my application journey, it felt like Bill had become more of a father figure to me. We had built up such an awesome rapport that by phone or email he could give any advice necessary and be there for support when needed! I am truly grateful that I got a chance to work with him and have a lifelong mentor/guide in my life.
Michael has been instrumental in helping me shape my pathway for the MBA and beyond. He is a wonderful listener and treats you like a friend. Many times our meetings feel like therapy because of Michael’s ability to ask the right questions, make you introspect, and come up with your own solutions makes him the ideal coach for this process.
Michael has been very helpful in tweaking my essays without changing the intention behind my words. He also helped me prepare for the interviews by doing mocks and post-mock reviews in a very detailed manner.
Michael continues to provide guidance to me like a mentor, even after my acceptance of an offer.
I worked with Silpa on an hourly package and she helped me gain admission to Stanford GSB and Kellogg. Her key areas of strength were helping me prioritize my efforts in the application process and bringing a real adcom’s perspective when reading my essays. Because Silpa has been in Stanford GSB’s adcom, she knows the relative importance of different parts of the application and understands how they are likely to react.
I had my first consultation call with Jenifer. When I told her about my background, she immediately helped me formulate my story, which had similarities with her own. She also paired me with the perfect coach thereafter. Jenifer continued to work closely with me as my second reviewer. She gave valuable input to my essays and made both me and my coach rethink the strategy and storyline we were going for. She challenged several points, for which I’m grateful as I was able to dig deeper and bring out a solid and well-knit story to support my applications. Jenifer was also very prompt with her responses and always stuck to the promised turnaround time. I appreciate her guidance and support throughout my MBA application journey
Emma reviewed, edited, and oversaw all the work that I did with Jenifer, my primary coach. She provided insightful feedback as to how I could structure my essays so that they would come across as truly authentic and pack the most powerful punch. She helped me to highlight aspects of my past stories and bring them to life in a way that would resonate with admissions. A great coach all in all.
I worked with Jenifer on a number of applications. With each one she helped me to understand the uniqueness of that school and how I could build the most competitive application for each one. She helped me dig deeper into my past to uncover the stories and events that would resonate with admissions, events that I would have probably overlooked. All in all, a great guide to have in my corner as I went about this process.
Working with Karla was the best decision I made in pursuing assistance with my MBA applications. She went up and beyond to make sure that I was very well prepared for each school.
One of the things that made my decision to work with Karla easy, is the fact that she was interested in knowing me the person, not the applicant, which led me to open up about my background and my life decisions from childhood which I used as a foundation for my story.
Working with Rachel helped me discover my authentic self during the application process. She untangled my story and background and help me navigate through it. When looking at the final application, I knew I would not have been able to create a coherent and well-rounded application without Rachel. Besides navigating my story, Rachel helped me be organized and made sure I was on track. She went above and beyond in helping me shape a wonderful authentic application. Working with Rachel has been a blessing.
I worked with Jenifer on a 3-school package and cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with her. Despite going through many ups and downs around testing, waitlists, etc. Jenifer kept me at ease every step of the way. She really challenged me and helped me bring the best story out of my life and career in my essays and resume. She was very supportive of me in the programs I chose to focus on and the interview prep she provided was vital in me securing acceptances. Her sage advice and guidance throughout helped me to achieve my goals and to secure a scholarship at one of my top schools. Working with Jenifer was an absolute blessing, she was extremely personable and compassionate while remaining professional and timely with all of our correspondence (despite a near 12-hour time difference between us). If you are looking for a coach, Fortuna is top of the list and has plenty to offer, but Jenifer stands out the most from my experience. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone going through the MBA application process!
I am very grateful to have had Julie as a consultant throughout the MBA application process, from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful in reviewing my essays, preparing me for interviews, and helping me select a list of schools to apply to with confidence. Ultimately, with her help, I was admitted to my top choice program! I recommend Julie wholeheartedly.
I worked with Rachel on preparing for my GSB interview. Her insights and guidance have really made a difference for me and played a crucial role in my admission to my #1 school. Rachel took the time to really get to know me and was extremely helpful in crafting my stories, tackling the weak points, and appropriately applying each story to its relevant question and message. She came prepared for our session and provided quick and thoughtful feedback that also allowed me to effectively utilize my learning time in the days before the interview. I cannot emphasize enough how valuable her tips were in the actual interview. Bottom line, If you are looking to get into Stanford – Rachel is the one.
TLDR: Working with Karla is a no-brainer – reach out to her early to secure your spot!
Karla is incredible. Without her, I am certain that I would not have produced an application of such quality and depth.
From the first meeting, Karla immediately sets herself apart with her candor and warmth. She takes the time to thoroughly understand your background and goals and provides an honest assessment of your competitiveness for the programs you seek.
Once you start working with her, it’s clear that she knows exactly what the adcoms are looking for. Her personable nature puts you at ease, and she’s an expert at asking you the right questions to help pull meaningful and unique anecdotes out of you – the type that forms the basis for essays that can set you apart.
Her interview prep is top-notch as well — overall, she provides support end to end on the application and is always just a text away for any questions you have.
Overall, she takes your application personally, as if it were her own, and is a terrific partner to help you put your best foot forward. Work with Karla, you won’t regret it.
I found Karla through a recommendation from a friend who got into HBS. I had a total of less than five months, from STARTING to study for the GMAT to FINISHING a few full MBA school applications. Without Karla’s knowledge and help, I would have been extremely overwhelmed, lost, and quite honestly, probably not have made it through the entire process.
Karla is extremely knowledgeable about the different school programs. She has extensive knowledge on what each program is looking out for in their candidates. In addition, she sees you for who you are and recognizes your strengths without you even realizing your own strengths at times – Karla helps you to build the best and most truthful version of yourself. What’s even more amazing about Karla is that she goes out of her way, above and beyond to support her clients in every possible way. She was extremely helpful in many different aspects throughout the application processes and even after the results are out. I would have been SO lost without Karla’s guidance and help. Thank you, Karla!!!
I got a late start to my applications and the guidance and structure from Fortuna was instrumental in helping me and my recommenders meet the deadlines to apply to 4 schools. I didn’t have enough time to take advantage of a full school package, but still got a lot of assistance with strategizing, editing and interview prep. Heidi was extremely responsive and straightforward, often sending back actionable comments to me within a few hours. She came to understand my background, stories and strengths to highlight and encouraged me to create detailed and well rounded responses. She clearly knows the MBA landscape very well and was a valuable resource throughout the process.
Emma has helped me to secure the LBS MBA program offer! She has been incredibly helpful in the process and the coaching methodology has proven to be the most effective and efficient. I started my application in October 2021, which is quite late to the game, while preparing for my GMAT, Emma has helped edited my application and later prepared me for the interviews. Without Emma, I would not be able to secure the offer from the top business school.
