Mr. Clean Meat, I’m impressed by your profile and particularly your passion for plant-based alternatives to meat. But I find myself trying to untangle this jargon-loaded sentence: “Inculcated the use of digital innovations in navigations and removed informational asymmetry.” Whatever you do, do not use that kind of language in your MBA application essays or on the application forms. That is one of the worst sentences I have read in a long time. You need to communicate in clear, uncluttered language. A sentence like that would get your application tossed in the waste basket faster than a 550 GMAT score. Ok, enough on that issue. So you are a male Indian systems engineer which means you are in the most over-populated part of the elite MBA applicant pool. I think the good news here is that other than your tech job at a Fortune 500, you have differentiated yourself by working in agriculture for your family business, by your very admirable extras, and by your post-MBA goals. Your stats are fine: a 740 GMAT is strong and so is your GPA. I strongly urge you to hire a professional consultant to look over your essays and make sure you are communicating far more clearly. This is essential to your success. I am giving you odds at Kellogg based on your ability to get rid of the BS jargon.
