I recently worked with a project manager from the construction management field and was impressed by the mix of activities the role entailed, especially in regards to negotiating with and managing all different groups of contractors, workers, owners, etc. It sounds like you had a great stretch experience with your supervisor leaving and you stepped up to the challenge!
