Hello Mr. Crisis Line Counselor! Krista Nannery from mbaMisison here. Thanks for posting. I LOVE IPAs too (Zombie Dust is my favorite) BUT…be careful about bringing this up in your applications. LOL. Neil Young is totally fine of course. Now you’ve asked for your odds at Tuck…it is a very special school with a special culture. To give yourself the best possible shot at success, I’d love to see a slightly higher GMAT score. Even 710 or 720 will help here. It can be tough to be successful at Tuck at the 700 level, given that you have a 3.1 GPA. My other top tip for you is to write an optional essay about your GPA…point out any bright spots and provide some examples about why you will excel in an academically rigorous program. Your focus over the next few months should be on getting the GMAT up but once you’ve done that, you may also want to take something like mbamath.com to show AdComs that you have the quantitative chops to succeed and that you are serious about building up your candidacy. I hope that helps! Krista
