Iām a fan of your profile. You sound like someone who looks to make things happen. Youāve got some positives as evidenced by the fast-track promotion from analyst to program manager, and given your computer science degree and your FAANG experience, MIT is an obvious choice. Youāve grown up in Europe, and youāre currently working in Japan so Iād bet you can demonstrate adaptability and strong cultural agility. Founding your own tech company doesnāt seem like too much of a stretch given youāre already heading down that route with friends. I guess my only other query would be test scores and GPA given your GRE is a couple of points below MITās average – but Iād back you providing you can put in a strong application really showcasing your points of differentiation.
