Given your interest in and your work experience in the field of data analytics, you picked a great first choice school. I think Tepper would be a terrific fit for you. Your experience in analytics, moreover, in several industries should prove valuable to your classmates as well. But here’s the problem: that 660 GMAT score is on the low side for Carnegie Mellon. Given your background and your leadership experience in managing others, I don’t think you need to be in the 700 bracket. But I think you would substantially improve your odds of an admit the closer you get to 700. I have no idea if your 660 was based on multiple takes or not, but I would urge you to try one more …
