Howdy! So I’m a soon to be minted PhD in neuroscience from the Université de Montréal. While my PhD was largely successful, I have mild academia PTSD. I can’t think of a better cure than another 1-2 year degree. Kidding aside, I developed a prototype for what could be the world’s first blood based test for psychiatry. I now seek a business acumen.

I was heavily involved in student governance while at McGill and held a number of key positions including VP external and member of the Board of Director. I initiated a campaign that culminated in a 50% decrease in the price of public transit for students in the city. I was also a co-founder and VP finance of the Quebec Student Union.
I want to lead my start-up to an IPO. Because most start-up fails my plan B is to go in consulting to learn and network until I find a way back to impact or biotech entrepreneurship. In 20 years I wouldnlike to crate a VC firm in my home town.
