Se the goal to break into the Big 4 accounting firms after starting from a non- Big 4 firm. Broke in, and within a year became a top performing individual in my start class all while simultaneously passing all 4 CPA exams, earning my license.
I have a real passion for investment, and with my MBA I want to break into the world of investment banking or asset management. I am hoping that through my MBA process I will be able to learn more about the financial markets, as well as enhance my knowledge of investment strategy.

The big red flags here are obvious. You have a below average GPA from a second-tier university and a GMAT score that is 46 points below the class average at Kenan-Flagler. So your number one priority in applying to the school is to say the your undergrad GPA is not a predictor of your future academic performance and explain why you didn’t perform all that well at Wayne State. Your work experience is very solid so you need to emphasize your work at a Big Four firm and your impact there. I would certainly expand the number of target schools on your list and include other schools that are ranked in the 25 to 50 range due to your low GPA and your low GMAT. …

If you have the time, I would seriously consider re-taking the GMAT as many times as it takes to get much closer to a 700 score. That could make a real difference for you because it would offset your low GPA.
