Without a bit more info on you, itās really hard to assess your odds. Thatās probably why at this point the community doesnāt think you have much of a chance of getting accepted at Yale where three of every four candidates are rejected. Your GRE of 310 is also below the latest Yale SOM class average of 328 and your GPA of 3.3 is also under the SOM class average for the latest cohort of 3.71. Your undergraduate education and I presume your current employer is not gold, but more like silver or bronze. My advice: Aim lower than Yale SOM. You can achieve your post-MBA goals with a degree from schools that are ranked 15 to 30 or so. Thatās where you should be …

Hi Mr. Project Management! This is Talon Rindels, Sr. Admissions Consultant at the MBA Exchange. I hope this platform is not reflective of what your application to Yale would look like! We’ll really need much more info on you in order to assess your candidacy, as it’s not always just about the numbers. It’s about your unique story as well. However, since your GRE is well below the average, you will need to either retake or have a really compelling story to get accepted. But, if you stick with the GRE you have, I’d suggest expanding your list beyond the top 15. Good luck!
Hi Mr. Project Management My recommendation is that you resubmit with all the required data to get more support here. In the meantime, I’d recommend two things: Get your GRE up to over 160 on both the verbal and quant to give yourself the best chance at this process. Do some research on goals — download the employment reports from your target programs and see who is hiring. I’d like to see you narrow things down…operations, strategy, and management consulting is a lot! Hope that helps!
Hi, this is Melisa from Stratus Admissions. As the other reviews have indicated, in order to better assess your odds, more information would be very helpful. While Yale is a school that tends to take their numbers quite seriously, being able to speak to their society based missions is important as well. They are looking for the whole package. It would be helpful to understand what about Yale is attractive since it is the only school you have listed. Applying to only one school is a bit risky, especially with Yale acceptance rate. If you believe and MBA is the right next step for you, I would suggest you either re-take the GRE, expand your search for schools (Darden, Georgetown, Emory have great tracks into …

Please reach out if I can help answer any other questions for you. Best of luck.
