Unfortunately, you know where you fall: As a male engineer from India in IT, you are in the most overrepresented part of the elite MBA applicant pool. That fact puts you at a serious disadvantage but, of course, it does not rule out a successful outcome. It just means that your application has to be executed perfectly. Your stats check those boxes but you are on the young side. The schools you are targeting would rather see another year or two of work experience and career progress in the form of a promotion or an important project assignment. Your young age and the fact that you will be competing against very tough competition in this segment makes me think your chances of an admission, especially at Stanford, are very slim. Sorry. My advice: Focus on your job for the next year or two and rack up a few more accomplishments there and get involved in something that shows you care about others. Playing the keyboard is not going to help you get into Stanford. But leading a non-profit initiative that helps disadvantaged people would be much more helpful.
