I am a 1st generation American & former foster care youth. In college, I maintained an independent research funding & presented novel drug delivery at a national conference. I have worked in clinical trials managing and coordinating trials in all phases of clinical research. In my free time, I volunteer for causes that have helped those like me.

You are clearly very bright, as that 335 GRE and accomplishments don’t come out of thin air! Given the adversity you’ve faced, I imagine you have an authentic rationale for your moderate GPA that can be explained to AdCom. AdCom will also appreciate your national drug delivery in college and your unending commitment to the community and youth that you may see childhood you in. I encourage you to embark on a deep introspective journey to identify what has made you rise above others, the key things that led you to that promotion, etc. It’s critical to showcase that your amazingness that was showcased by that 2.3% in college has continued into your professional life (and I’d place my bets that it has!).
Applying to a range of Stretch, Target, and Safety schools is a solid plan for anyone who is serious about their MBA and if you are open to adding other programs to your list, I might recommend you take a closer look at Fuqua as well. I believe your personality and goals in healthcare would allow you to thrive among other like-minded ambitious peers.
