Being a leader has always been a way of life for me from the volleyball court, to the battlefield, to client support. A born and raised Jersey girl, I am not afraid to allow my voice to be heard and encourage all of those around me to do the same. Through my time in service, I have learned what it means to be a selfless leader and motivate teams.

I want to continue my passion for empowering teams to achieve a common goal. Following my MBA, I intend to bring my consultation and leadership skills to the next level by joining McKinsey & Company and helping continue their legacy of “bringing change that matters”.

Hi Ms. Selfless Leader, I love your unique background coming from your time in service and career in construction and consulting! This is Debbie Choy from mbaMission. Hi Ms. Selfless Leader, I love your unique background coming from your time in service and career in construction and consulting! This is Debbie Choy from mbaMission. I think you have a lot of strengths in your profile – apart from your professional achievements, you are also active in your community through your volunteer work. Your GMAT and GPA could be a concern for the Admissions Committee, as they are below the averages at Wharton. As you are still early in your career, do consider retaking the GMAT to get as close to the Wharton average of 730 as you can, before applying. If you find yourself hitting a ceiling with the GMAT, look into the GRE. The study material is similar, but some applicants find the GRE test format more suited to their test-taking style. As for your GPA, if there were any circumstances that affected your grades, do consider explaining them in the optional essay. My estimate of your odds is based on applying now with a 700. But if you gain more experience under your belt and improve your test scores, your chances will increase. If you would like to discuss your profile in more detail, feel free to schedule a 1:1 consultation with us. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
