A couple of things: The fact that you were educated as an engineer in India (nothing wrong with that. It’s just that there are lot of Indian engineers in the elite MBA applicant pool so the competition in that part of the pool is intense. And then there is your ambition which I greatly admire but business schools like applicants who show humility and made their wild ambitions less visible to others. It’s like the duck who swims calmly on the surface of the water but is paddling fiercely under the water. Good luck to you!
