About the Program

Students can tailor their degrees to their own career goals, develop soft skills, and build a powerful network of like-minded professionals. Earn a degree by attending classes in person or fully online with the option to specialize in Assurance, Analytics, or Taxation. All business majors welcomed. Pre-requisite programs are in place to help all non-accounting degree holders to fulfill necessary coursework to pursue a master’s in accounting. Students who have a business degree with a major other than accounting or those with a Bachelor of Accounting degree from overseas may be required to complete pre-requisite courses for an added cost of 7,500* plus fees. Merit-based scholarships are available.

Program Format and Schedule

FIU prepares Master of Accounting students to confidently take the CPA exam with 30 credit hours of course work in just 10 months. This flexible program gives the competitive skills needed to tackle accounting’s ever-changing challenges and a range of practical applications for the growing industry.
