About the Program

The MS Finance program accelerates students’ business careers with a focused, graduate-level education in finance. Students can chose a track in financial management or quantitative finance.

In the finance-intensive track, students enhance career opportunities in corporate finance, portfolio analysis and management, investment banking and the management of financial institutions.

In contrast to the financial management track, the quantitative finance track has an intense focus on advanced mathematics, finance and statistics.

Program Format and Schedule

The MS Finance program is a full-time residency program requiring three semesters of study. The program offers admission in the fall only. MS students must take five courses or 15-16 credits per semester to graduate on schedule with 36 credit hours. Some students with limited business backgrounds may be required to take an additional course each semester.
