The MS in Business Analytics and Project Management (MSBAPM) Program is a 37-credit degree program designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who can harness advanced business analytics and project management skills. The program is designed and delivered by globally renowned faculty for the Operational and Information Management department within the School of Business at UConn and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.
With a blend of core courses focused in analytics and project management, students also have the flexibility to either dive deeper into one of these subject areas or explore business functions within one of our seven industry-driven concentrations or the MBA curriculum with their elective courses. MSBAPM students are also invited to participate in many experiential learning opportunities through internships, supported by dedicated career counselors, and projects and research with corporate partners through the UConn’s Center for Advancing Business Analytics, and the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
The MSBAPM program requires 37 credit hours, including 5 three-credit courses in Business Analytics, 4 three-credit courses in Project Management, a one-credit course in Technical Communications, and 3 three-credit elective courses. Electives can be focused in Business Analytics, Project Management, or one of five industry-driven concentrations in Business Data Science, Healthcare Analytics, Talent Analytics, Actuarial Science, and Marketing Analytics. Students can choose the pace of their program and either study full-time or part-time, with courses offered during the day and evening on two campuses. Students studying full-time typically complete the program in three to four semesters. Part-time students typically finish the program in 2-3 years.
