P&Q To Update MBA Startup Rankings

Calling all MBA startups. Is your company the next Facebook, Twitter or Groupon?

If so, we want to hear about it. poets_and_quants.03

Poets&Quants is updating our inaugural MBA startup ranking of last year.   Just in case you forgot what the list is and how it works, below are some details.

So what exactly is it? We’re looking to identify the top 100 MBA startups coming out of graduate business schools worldwide.

What’s in it for you and your business? We’ll name and profile the top 25 startups on Poets&Quants.  These profiles will be syndicated across Fortune.com/CNN Money and LinkedIn. The best businesses will also be featured in an exclusive digital magazine devoted solely to MBA startups.

What if my startup isn’t making money…yet, anyway?  Don’t despair. If your startup isn’t rolling in the big bucks, you’re still encouraged to apply.  We’ll also be assessing startups for their creativity, growth potential, investor interest and social value, among other factors.

What are the rules? We’re looking for startups that were developed in business school. The founders should include at least one current MBA student or recent MBA alum (who graduated within the past five years).  The startup must be no more than five years old and must be funded by angel investors, VCs, or friends and family money.

How do I apply? Please fill out the short survey below. All answers will be kept confidential.

When’s the deadline? Friday, December 19

What happens next? Shortlisted startups will be contacted in January for telephone interviews.
