This year <McKinsey again topped the list with 28 full-time hires, followed by Bain (22), BCG (19), Amazon (19), EY/Parthenon (14), and PwC Strategy& (13). Each of those also hired the most summer interns, led by Amazon’s 22. But Ross MBAs don’t just go to work for the huge companies and corporations. Last year, more than 10% of the 2021 class reported going into careers with a social impact or sustainability component, up more than 6 percentage points from 2020 and 3 percentage points from a previous high of nearly 7% in 2018. This year, it’s more than double that 2018 number: 15.3% of the class.
